Ok before you all say Amazon or eBay, please know I'm looking to buy in store. Ive been searching online trying to see if there are any physical stores I can go to find a pocket microscope but all has been to no avail. I know RadioShack apparently used to carry something decent maybe 4-5 years back but I can't seem to find it.

Can anyone help me out here I really want to check my trichromes but have no means currently

I live close to RadioShack so I would be willing to go there but I couldn't find any links for microscopes or any magnifiers over 30x

I'm kinda partial to the radio shack scopes for handhelds..

But I prefer a microscope you can attach to a computer.. It makes inspection much easier.

I made the trek to RadioShack today (or should we just say sprint lol) and they didn't have and handheld microscopes OR attachable lenses for phones in case anyone else was wondering.

Also tried a few head shops but none had them in stock. Only one out of three actually was actually waiting on some they had ordered.

Man! Who knew it would be so tough to get something like this in store!

My plants are getting real close so time is somewhat of the essense also I hate navigating the return process on online items, I really like to check things out in person, but RadioShack doesn't support online stuff right now because of all that bankruptcy stuff a few months ago and their subsequent downsizing

I've seen USB pocket microscopes online. They're usually pretty affordable. Perhaps the ability to snap a photo of your hard earned trichomes under magnification might be worth considering an online purchase.

Have you tried using your digital camera on your phone? I was going to get a scope, but then discovered that the MP of my phone were plenty to zoom in and see some trichomes.

I've been using mag light on iPhone but it doesn't have the detail I think I would need. I have a few giant telescope lenses lying around. Maybe both in tandem will do the trick?

I just no-scoped this with my cell phone. I could probably get in closer but this is enough detail for myself, personally speaking. I can see the heads on the trichomes and the hairs on the hairs. I didn't even know that the hairs had hairs.

Hairception.

Cheap ass dollar stores usually have magnifiers but they don't usually go up past 10x. Local drug stores as well, in the areas where theres stuff for elderly people like reading glasses etc.

If your really desperate and can't find anything at all and really have to buy in store, go into the toy isle at the store and buy a science kit. Just look around I've seen plenty with magnifying glasses and other things. Or go to the mall and go to the kiosks that sell phone cases. Ask them if they got the lens attachments some of them do

See if you can find this bad ass gadget online. I got this from the local 420 shop. 60x with build in LED for night time scoping.
