when i germinate my seeds i put them in a wet paper towel and put it in a plastic bag. is it better to put it in the fridge or somewhere dark like a closet or something? ive done it both ways and have had success both ways but i was just wondering if any of those ways was better then the other. THANKS!

I wouldnt put them in the fridge but im sure it wouldnt hurt, its pretty cool in the spring when they germinate naturally. The best is inoculated peat pellets or plugs. These pellets usually have bacteria that helps the roots develop and use nutrients and minerals more effeciently. Lamp

I've used the same method for many years with great success!! i store all seeds in the fridge, then ones i'm gonna use i soak in distilled water for 12 hrs...then i put paper towels down in a plate, soak them, not standing water, but complete saturation, the put some on top, make it nice and wet, and then put another plate on top...i then place the plates in my cupboard, making sure it's moist in there, and wait for 24-48 hrs for a small taproot to pop out...from there i plant em taproot down into rapid rooter soil plugs and off to the humidity dome with fluoros they go...bongsmilie
