one Kushberry has been harvested and is currently drying, and the rest of the pack has about 2 - 3 weeks left.

Kushberry harvest:

She smelled like dirty clothes in a hamper..but now that she is drying she is smelling more and more like rotting fruits..very stinky!

The Kushberries that remain seem to be expressing OG Kush more than the Blueberry. Very citrus/lemony and skunk with a dash of diesel fuel. They have very large calxyes..can't wait to taste her..

They recieved their last batch of nutrients..flushing for the next 2 - 3 weeks.

Kushberry finished drying up..cure time! (8.5 weeks)

I harvested KB #4 @ 9.5weeks today...she has a lot of OG Kush in her..

I have one more KB and WW left..going to let those go for another 1.5 - 2 weeks.

Here are a few shots of a soon to be 10 week old White Widow and Kushberry (my only two left). I have been flushing for the last two weeks..the Kushberry is done, its getting chopped down..small yield but the smoke is insane. I'm going to let the WW go about 1.5 more weeks. I usually chop down my WW's at 10%clear, 10%amber, 80%milky...but I am going to go about 40% amber since my Kushberries came out more sativa-ish..I need at least one-hit knockout stone.
Almost at big as a 2Lt..maybe by the time I harvest her...
Next to the Kushberry
And the last Kushberry standing:
:)

I still think you harvest way too soon.
Try keeping a few lower buds when you harvest and give them another 2-3 weeks, or until the pistils receed back to the pod and the calyx gets swolen like it bears a seed.
See if you like it, if not - you haven't lost much.

Thanks for the journal has been a great read!!!

i am just going into flowering and hopefully the 5 WW i have will look as good as yours... maybe not so big (hight i mean) but the buds look so healthy.

I have one sick one but the others are going strong... i like and will follow your theory on the neuts feed when they need not when you want ;-)

i will bookmark this grow for reference...

great work!

Two west coast strains (LA OG Kush x Oregon Blueberry) have joined together to make some mouthwatering herb..not to mention a high that compliments the taste and smell.

Excuse the dirty pipe, but I was smoking her before I wrote this then I decided to take a picture of some in a bowl..

Lets begin

Smell/Taste
During flower, my room smelled like a a skunk cemetery full of citrus trees with some fuel spilled on the ground. Yes, that exact smell..very beautiful.

After drying and curing, the smell still lingered, but transformed to a lemony-pinesol scent..with some skunkiness mixed in. When the jar opens it fills the entire room with this pleasant smell..and forget carrying this stuff in a bag..you must have it in a container!

The taste is similar and it lingers in your mouth for a while.

Smoke
Very good cerebral high with some body to accompany it. All you need is a couple of hits to get going in the morning..but if you want to take a nap, well, smoke a bit more and It'll knock you out. I harvested this pheno with mostly cloudy trichomes so that I could have a nice day time smoke...although it can be a great night time smoke.

It burns to nice white ash as well

Bag Appeal
Large calyxs and not that many pistils..looks so pretty that you don't want to smoke her! Buds are dense..but not too dense. An ounce of this stuff looks like more than an ounce.

Overall I give this a solid 9.5/10...highly recommended!

:leaf:I'm sold! A guy once told me that Kushberry is all the kush I'd ever need. Obviously, there are a lot of different kushs out there but the way he said it made me think there was something really special about this strain. Thanks for the reminder. I'm getting it:leaf: +REP

Sorry for the late reply..been busy! I feed my plants every other watering starting at 1/4 strength and I move up the dosage until I reach full strength. I see no problems during veg, but, during flower I add Cal-Mag Plus AND Grow Big (around week 4 - 5 flowering). I have s arted to use Big Bloom with every watering as it wont harm the plants and its a good soil conditioner.

looks good,i've got white widow going myself,3 weeks from seed.
Nice, have pics?

Thanks!

Excellent! Gonna start flowering my widows soon.
How long have you had them vegging?

Been trying to find KB but its sold out everywhere I look...I am going to switch to two 400w's and grow out 10 KB, find a good keeper and dial it in...I think this is the strain that I am going to grow for a long while. This strain literally blew me away..I was looking for a couch lock..but ended up with a very potent cerebral strain...it has all the qualities that I have been searching for..

Have you ever smoked OG Kush (like the actual clone only ones in Cali)? From my research, it seems Kushberry has the majority of its traits from the OG (lemon taste) and the way you described it (skunky, citrus, fuel) sounds a lot like the Chemdog/OG Kush/Sour D mix type. Can you confirm that? Either way I can't wait to get some seeds:leaf:

I was thinking the same thing when she started to smell...I looked up the genetics and it described OG Kush to a T. I gave my brother a KB plant when it was about 2 - 3 weeks into veg..his came out short and completely different than mine..so I'm pretty sure there are quite a few phenos..but the OGK phenos seem to be the most potent.

Can't wait to see your grow when you get em!

I think it may be a while until I get them (not to mention they're sold out everywhere) simply because I just popped 3 Purple Wrecks (reg) and 8 True Blueberrys (reg). They're seedlings right not and I've yet to determine their sex so trying to start a completely new strain is out of the question for me at the moment.

But the Kushberry's certainly the next strain on the list. I was also fortunate enough to find bagseeds in a Sour Diesel eighth I bought in NYC a few months ago. I'm reserving my sativa dominant strains for later though. As of now, my main ladies are 2 different White Russian phenos; one displays more of the WW characteristics and the other is more on the AK47 side. There I go rambling again:leaf:
