White Widow, Stealth, HPS

So, the upgrades to my stealth garage cabinet are complete. I have increased the fresh air intake and have a 250w HPS ballast, but I'm using a 150w bulb for the younglings, for now.

I purchased 10 Joey Weed White Widow seeds. After problems germinating a few I decided to concentrate on getting more seeds. I grew 3 plants outdoors. 2 were females, 1 was male. I used the male to polinate the two females and now have dozens of seeds and some decent smoke. :blsmoke:

I germinated 20 seedlings and hope to get 1 mother and 10 plants out of this grow and eventually have a perpetual flowering cabinet.

I've cut off the wood cabinet top and replaced it with glass so my lamp is above the cabinet, not inside. A 50 CFM exhuast fan located in the cieling pulls the air thru my cabinet, over the bulb, and exits into the attic.

a friend of mine has some Blue something seeds he wants to trade with my WW seeds. I'm on my way to hybrids and genetic experiments. Gosh I love this plant. I intend to grow some mushrooms in the single cabinet next to the seedlings because they'll put out CO2 that the mj will love.

Feel free to comment. I will update as I go.

hey all. i've got the plant size ideas all worked out in my head. my last grow in the single cab next to this one gave me some experience so i know what these plants are capable of. (see my previous grow in my sig)

this will be a lesson in LST by the time this grow is over. i intend to wrap these girls spirally and train them well as my blooming bitches!

marijuana is a great plant. she can take what i'm about to give her. plus, just wait and see...one lucky girl in here is going to get a shallow water culture base. i'm gonna push these girls all the way!

inside diminsions are 11" deep x 22" hgh x 35" wide.

i have a 6" galvanized HVAC duct tied into the A/C duct of the adjacent room. and a 50 CFM fan pulling air out of the space and over the bulb.

so far, temps are right around 80 degrees. it'scold outside today and it was 80 degrees. it was warm last week and it was still around 80. as long as my A/C or heater is running, temps in the space stay ambiant.

however, i tried to run this setup in August, peak heat here down south U.S. and it was too much. temps were just over 90 and plants growth is stunted at those temps. this set-up will work at all other times in year but not june-august.

setup looks sweet and a good job on your last cfl grow. i will stay tuned because i am interested in stealth grows. when i move soon i want to setup a stealth hps grow, so i will have to get some tips from you.

can i suggest a ScrOG setup for this!?
with the fixed light height, a screen at the right level would maximize the potential of the 250w hps...

nice setup though, loving the stealth...

hows the 50cfm fan working for you? is it strong enough to keep the temps down?

hey lumber, temps are perfect right now in fall/winter. might be a problem in the summer. a scrog system might work well. i've concidered it. but i had some other ideas too. maybe all 3.

thanks mastak and jonny. i have some interesting ideas for the small stealth. i do not intend to sacrafice yeild.

at first, i thought it was nutrient splashed on leaves.

but it's starting from lower leaves first. yellow leaves, then brown spots.

any ideas? :joint:

gonna have to post more info.... feeding... nutes...temps...ph.... first i would start by getting them into bigger pots those little plastic cups wont get them very far... and i hope you have holes in the bottom of those.... if its not temp or bugs then i would start by looking at water/nutes that you have been giving it soil ph should be 6.5-6.8 if its any higher or lower it will lock out nutes and your plant will starve... if you given it to much nutes it will also kill your plant .... start out weak then up dosage's

thanks for the reply. temps are ambiant; 80 day/70 night.

i have 100% organic nutes at 6.5 ph.

i have good drainage.

i think i may over-fertilizing. i've been mixing half-gallon of water and i forgot to half the nutes dosage. damn!

i just flushed and watered with correct nute dosage at 6.0 ph because the growFAQs recommends 6.0 for soil.

anyone else see nutrient burn?

i know i will have to repot, but i don't think i'm seeing rootbound, yet. do you?

nice job thou... you handle'd that pretty well identifying the problem and fixing it...... and yea... repot... 3 inch sprouts roots = go to the bottom of that cup and those are alot bigger... there prolly isnt soil at the bottom anymore... just roots ;)

IT odes not look like over fertilizing to me..

CC- I would transplant to 3 gallon containers and use a soil that is well known.. like black gold or fox farm....

asap
