Solution? This isn't that hard. The "solution" is to stop fucking hating people for the sake of hating. I've never understood the beef with black colleges (HBCU's), other than ignorance and once again, HATE. I will say this though, there was NEVER a chance that my daughter was going anywhere other than an HBCU, not as long as I'm writing the checks. My grandfather attended one, my parents attended one, as did I. So my daughter didn't stand much of a chance. I'd rather her attend an HBCU on my dime, than attend a "white" university for free.

When you make a statement about white people you're stereotyping all white people, this is elementary school thinking. Why do you conclude that my question is the result of sensitivity and not curiosity?

So with 400+ years of legal racial discrimination by whites in this country, with all but about 52 years of this "discrimination" being completely legal, you're surprised that some black folks would view whites negatively? Really?

The pernicious racism that includes "the peculiar institution", segregation, Klan, hiring and lending practices that excluded black people from participating in this economy up to this very day. How can I describe it without saying that these were and are practices endorsed by powerful white people on black people?

Are you trying to enforce some new form of political correctness where we can't mention the underlying justification for all these acts was the belief in white supremacist ideology? We can't move forward to end racism or at lease mitigate its effects without recognizing that it occurs.

Some of the bad people in the world are white, some have brown eyes some don't. Your rhetoric can easily be misconstrued to imply these bad people are/were bad because they're white.
if these bad people being white had no influence on their evil behavior then mentioning their skin color contentiously has no justification.

Are jewish people born with white skin allowed to identify as white if they choose to, if so did these white jews experience white privilege during the holocaust?

They aren't racist, they're prejudiced. The Obama comment is such a leap of logic, that I'm just going to let that ride.

A better question would seem to revolve around the white privilege that they experience now. Because when your skin is white, once you lose the accent of your origin, you simply just become "white" in America and you are afforded a certain level of privilege that POC aren't.
