Heres some pics of the whole setup: i have 6 CFL's air purifier, exaust fan, thermometer, and constant temp of 75-80 degrees. Im really stuck with this problem.
the deisel ryder pictured above is in the yellow pot, it was up higher earlier today but i moved it down in case of heat stress.
View attachment 931125View attachment 931126View attachment 931127 i have been misting the deisel ryder about every day for moisture, if i feel the soil is dry. and i spray it untill the top layer is moist/wet.

you need to wet the entire cup not just the top layer.. plus you need additional lighting.. your plants will not grow at a healthy rate with the amount of lighting you have.

haha.. uh maybe $25-30 bucks a month but thats with a fan.. Id go with the 400 if u can afford it. It will pay for itself in the long run.

Hey guys I am a n00b and this is my first post here. I want to start growing my own medicine indoors and found this site with its wealth of info. What I am looking for is a list of everything that I will need to get started with a grow of about 20 plants or so. I tried to search but couldnt find a concise list, I am trying to keep on a decent budget for this first grow and then start upgrading to more plants and better equipment. Id like to spend $500 or so but I could but together more funds if its needed

Is it better to just buy some clones from the club to start growing and then make one into a mother plant to take more clones from?

Or should I start from seeds?

Also how much does each plant usually yield?

Thanks for the advice and pointers I really appreciate it.

wow, thats alot of questions :) to start, gorwing 20 plants with ur budget probably isnt possible.. you should probably pick up 2-3 1000 watt h.p.s. (high pressure sodiums) with ballasts.. that right there.. if you plan to buy new equipment will be a min. of $450- $600.. then you need AT LEAST 3 inline fans to cool the lights.. another $400 min.. then you need nutes $50-100... soil $50-100 lol so I really cant help you cause its not possible unless you have at least a grand...

Its probably a better idea to start from a seed.. the majority of time seeds are easier to start because they are not subject to disease, bugs, ect.

as far as yield goes.. its dependent on MANY factors.. lighting, genetics, veg. time, ect.

alright. are led panels any good? or would a 400w still b better for the money? cause led would save money on the power bill and less heat.
i found this one:
http://htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=54130
if you want my opinion LEDS are a gimmick and a complete waste of money. They produce NO WHERE near as good of results for double the price. While they are ok for vegitation, they dont flower at all.. the light isnt intese enough.. Ive seen many ppl attempt to grow and defend them after they sunk $1000s on them and NEVER seen comparable results to HIDs for the price..

Hi. Having some problems with 2 of my lowryder blueberries and one unknown. lets start with the unknown, which is from bag seed.

I decided to trim some of the lower fan leaves, to let the light through to new growth. This is what happened. Leaves now seem brittle to the touch. I ran some distilled water today through soil to take out some mineral deposits.

Below is my Aerogarden setup with my lowlife blueberry in the front, of which the one on the right seems to be ok. In the back are the lowryder 2 plants, which are thriving. All under the same conditions. Please help.

I see. I guess 20 might be too many plants for this first grow. I found this package deal on craigslist do u think it is a good price?
http://sandiego.craigslist.org/esd/for/1724465430.html

Is there a better place to buy this stuff from?

Thanks for the help

how much yield do you need, to keep your medicine in stock?
