Ok lets see if I can help.

You can not cool your box any lower than the ambient temp of your intake supply.

1 - Where will the air, that is going to be SUCKED into your cabinet, come from?
2 - How will you control the ambient temperature of the air being brought into your cab?
The air is coming from that room which the window is open and 1 ceiling fan and another fan in the room after a exhaust fan in the box and another fan inside to circulate air. dont know if i should add a intake fan...computer fan or so? ambient is controledby ceiling fan etc... it will still be hot...its just like that..need help with lights...anyone..time is short.

ummm not really ive only grown once and it was a super ghetto grow, what do they look like?
I don't know what your plants look like when they need water, that was kinda my point, I do however know what mine look like. I found this out by not watering them and watching very closely. The leafs got droopy and flimsy. These are very hardy plants and very tough to kill, but the easiest why to kill them is OVER WATERING. If you don't know when your plants need water then you are over watering.

and okay but at the moment I have the lights like 3-4 feet above the plants should I try to lower it or raise the plants? I was just scared because I heard the heat could be bad for the baby seedlings so I thought farther away would be bettr. They seem to be doing fine I just want everything to go as good as possible
Are you running an air cooled hood? If not you have your lights as close as you can get them, and your crop will suffer.

To buy or not to buy... I need 1x 600w MH and 1x 600w HPS, 2x ballasts, hoods, timers, and hangers. This has it all. I guess my real question here is, should I spring for a name brand setup?? Is this going to catch my house on fire if I get this one?? lol

Thanks as always!

(and yes, I would buy 2 of these packages)

you only need 1 600watt ballast and a mh bulb and a hps bulb,,the ballast will run both if you was thinking mh for veg and hps for flower

I have a 400 WattHPS that I want to scrog in a panda tent. Should I go with a 4' by 4' screen or a 3' by 3' screen. I will build the tent custom so I waste less light
I am hoping to get at least 112g each run of sticky icky, with bumper crops nearing the 400g range. Input?

I'm waiting for this one coming soon.

Well my latest research has broken yet another myth even more and I'm stoked at some of the stuff I have found. Of course this means more experiments but hey I love that, just not sure how long before I get to actually do them all

anyway, I will write another ditty this weekend as this latest info is about drying and curing and a few of you are there, so the info will be of benefit
I'm sure it will be cool. It's from his Calling All Noob Growers
So keep an eye there for something well researched:mrgreen:

can you help with some wiring? i need to figure out how to wire some comp fans into a wall socket. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks
I use a phone charger to run my pc fans. I had a bunch of extra chargers laying around so I just wired the pc fan to one. Some pc fans have an extra wire, you just ignore it. It is normally hooked to the mb for rpm control based on heat. It isn't needed for your purpose.

You need to know the Voltage and Amperage. Usually comp fans are 12V but the A is key. you want 120% of the A for your power supply. Quick example. a 12V .6A fan would use a 12v power supply with over a .7A. They overheat and fail if it's a lower A. Make sense?

I have a question about wind. I have 4 fans going on, 2 oscillating. Just wondering how much wind is too much? I am asking because the oscillating fan when it rotates blows the plants a little. Is this bad? I know the wind will make the plants stem grow stronger correct? Then should this be good for an autoflowering strain? I'm also wondering because the one that seems to be blowing the most seems to be the most yellow in leaf color. these babies are 5 days old btw, sprouted sunday morning.

Wind does not make the stems stronger. Forum myth. I like lots of air flow. They can handle alot, so you'll have to judge for yourself I guess.
