Hey all I am going to be starting my first grow here soon and am VERY excited about it. I am going to be doing a stealth closet grow my first time around. I have decided that in order to better control everything I am going to be building a grow cab. I am not sure out of just what yet exactly may end up being an old dresser or just out of some wood I get my hands on.

The question that I have is about ventilation/odor control. Before I go and order what I THINK I need I just wanted to confirm it with others. My plan is to purchase this fan here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390127340450 have it pull air from my grow cab through a DIY carbon filter say this one https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/7074-easy-build-diy-carbon-filter.html and vent right into the closet where the cab is going to be sitting. Just wanted to confirm that would work right. Also to get some input on if that will eliminate the odor from 4-6 plants while in flowering. I don't want any smell whatsoever outside of the cab.

im wanting to do an outdoor garden, im germinating and am hoping to just transplant from a can after germinating,straight to the ground. are there any chemicals i need to worry about?

no chemicals u gutta worry about as long as you clean the cans good

i'm looking for a good plantar for my girls for the remainder of the veg/flower time. I'm looking for something 12-16" and 3-5 gallon capacity. I'm having trouble finding anything at my local stores that: are that size, affordable, allows for good drainage and opaque. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Ok guys back for your help again. I've put so much thought into this and i keep comming of with differernt ideas. The pic shows my two rooms, both are 4.5x4.5. Now im thinking the best way to vent these rooms. I was thinking possibly a 6in inline fan in the between the two rooms pulling air into the chimney?. Then maybe another pulling air from the basement via the chimney for intake? i have a 400 watt in the veg and a 600 watt in the flower. both with easy cool hoods which i was thinking a couple 6 inch duct fans would be enough to push the hot air through the hoods to the chimney? also i live on the second floor and havnt put the hole in the chimney yet. this def isnt going to hurt the structure of my house right? idk what you guys think?

thanks, really appreciated! but exactly how should i clean the cans?

so is it true that if i run a drip system hydro using rockwool and hydroton, i dont have to turn the feeder on during lights off? so i would turn the feeder pump to feed the hydroton every hour of light on? does this sound right?

I water 15 on/off during the day and 15/45 on/off at night. Make sure your water is nice and aerated too. I have an air stone in the bottom of each pot and in the reservior.

i am growing super lemon haze out door how large should the container be ?

If you arte going to do a true stealth grow cab, heat is going to be your biggest challange.

This is a very bad idea, you do not want to vent your heat to the same area that you are takeing you intake air from.

ok ive just set up my cool shade,my temprature as been at 33degrees to 34 degrees,its now siting at 27degrees using the cool shade,put some pics up of the shade and a pic of my plants at the moment ,,the plants have been in flower 3days and there getin even more bushy and there guna double in size,ive been told i cant trim now there in flower is this true? thanks

my girls are looking great been 2 weeks on grow 24hr light and now 3 weeks 12/12 bloom. loadsa little pre buds coming along. i got 2 trays of 5 hydro and 2 pots cush. temp reached 36 deg then 38 deg last 2 days and they have drunk a shit load of water/nutes. how hot is too hot?? they look super but just a bit worried about heat.

if i were to plant a bunch of mj plants inbetween and next too a few 4 ft tall pine trees. about 2.5 feet from them. do you think the roots of the trees will choke my mj roots?

if you look it up mostly people will say between 75 degrees and 80 degrees is best. i know your plants can still grow fast and healthy at higher temps if you introduce co2 into your grow room. i personally try to keep mine at 75 the highest, but thats just cause i've only grown one strain and it seems to do best at that temp for me. maybe just play around with those limits till you see what they like the best. anything 90 or over is dangerous.

hello my friend you look like the guy ive been looking for due to circumstances out of my control ive decided to buy led light panel 120watt as ive been told this will not be as detecable on the electicity bill as much as other methods, ive read my first 2 books on growing but im finding it hard to find out much info on the led panel, any advice would be extremely helpful

I dont know whats wrong with it i add sum fertilizer but not alot

i have a 4x8x7 foot grow tent. my plants are about 7 inches tall n a week n a half old, im going to be transplanting them in the next few daysfrom red cups into 3gal buckets..would the 2 600watt lights be to much for how young the plants are right now?!
