whatever whatever whatever. Obama will go down in history as the worst, he spends , spends, spends, and National Health care wil be the worst. We live in the United States of America not Canada. He is burying us into a hole we may never get out of. My husband is retired army, My son is in the army and my daughter is also in the army stationed in Iraq. So our roots run deep, my family has done their part in serving their country. So all of you who have nothing but praise for Obama need to get a grip. Have you served your country????

I don't know about generations but i can run numbers down very very well, and the numbers simply stink and the solutions presented by this administration WILL NOT WORK, and HAVE NOT WORKED. Every "promise" on the Stimulus has failed by his very own time line, and there is no sign of abatement of bad news.

The administration seems mystified by it all and resorts to statements like, "It's better than doing nothing". Of course that is a lie. In this case it would have been far better to do nothing.

So what is Obama doing to solve his dilemma? Is he retuning his economic ideas? Ha! Why would he do that? Why change a game plan which is simply not working? I hope he doesn't run Afghanistan with that illogical thinking. so what is the solution from team Obama? Why, MORE MONEY! Another stimulus, even though this one failed.

The stimulus was not a failure in one regard however. It has saddled us with a tremendous debt which will grow over decades to swamp us. This is a terrible time to be spending public money when the private sector (the real engine) is on its heels. It's BACKWARD thinking and now Obama wants more of the same.

Obama is either incompetent or he is trying to bust us out. There is no viable third option.

fact of the matter is that cwallace48 didn't "SERVE HIS COUNTRY"...he simply served the military industrial complex. he served wallstreet

Well,

I was TOLD I was serving my country when I was sent to Iraq...but that's not true it turns out. Say, you do know that it's all bullshit right? Eagles, liberty bells, "God bless yada yada"...it's all a lie that common people believe.

What sets Obama apart is that he has no qualms pumping tax payer dollars into OUR economy, that's what Socialism is after all. Bush liked to put that money into other places, and then he de regulated the fuck out of everything. Result? Economic downturn.

Republicans are evil enough to fight a war, which might come in handy some day, but Democrats are the ones who fix economies. Reagan and Bush Senior...and Bush Junior were AWFUL planners. Clinton gave us a surplus!

With any luck we will start looking more like Canada or Europe in the next 4 years. If you don't like it you can move to...wait, where would you want to go other than America, Canada or Europe? Those three places rule!

I couldn't disagree with that statement more.
Should we learn nothing from our countries last depression? Hoover sat around and did absolutely nothing and it only fueled the economic downturn.
I'm more into learning from historical mistakes. I guess that makes me a dumb liberal.
