I think like was already stated...that the more new members we get the more of these cases there'll be. I also seem to think another major factor to these posts is that they always seem to be by people you somehow knew would get in some sort of trouble one way or another. Unfortunately being a public forum.......well you know. I find it funny that these people seem to think that them coming to a site like this almost immediately after they were in some sort of trouble would be a smart thing. Secondly starting a thread about said situation is just allowing one's ego to perpetuate and spread the negative experience and energy of the situation. I would hope that if I were in any of these situations I would just feel too foolish or stupid to want to tell anyone. And 90% of the time you know the people in those situations do something stupid. On the other hand it could just be narcs, and they think that is the best way to "reel" people in.

I think its inevitable that people are going to get busted. unfortunately a lot of new growers dont do much research before starting a grow. and then of course just like all of us would love to do they want to show their plants off and tell people about how good they are at growing pot, ect ect and then they get in trouble. theres always enemies to be had. and someone is always going to be jealous.
in my opinion the only people that should ever know you are growing are people that LIVE in your home. if you tell many more than that then youve told too many and youre at risk. people talk.
AND I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH... if you live in a city where you can aqquire a medical marijuana license and yet you still dont have one then i cant feel too bad for you. those things are fucking simple to get. do you have an achey back? feeling a little depressed lately? find a green friendly doctor, choke up the fucking fees and just do it. its worth it for the extra peace of mind. unless youre growing like 300 plants the dea isnt gunna come after you if youre licensed. theres not an excuse if its legal in your state to not work on getting that paper.

The 404 IIRC, was about someone who had some contraband somewhere and when asked by the law if they could search said place, told them no, come back with a warrant (I think).
