Why Do My Bud's Smell Like Plants?

Why don't you chop some early and some later and figure out which one you like better?
I actually did that with this crop. I cut a small amount 1 week before and it got my pretty high. Definitely a head high, so I'm thinking 1 week later and properly dried and cured, I have to assume this bud should be just about right... after my drug test next week I'm going to smoke the dried stuff and see how it is. Hopefully by then I will get some of the skunk smell back..

sometimes when it gets over dried it smells "like a plant" or kinda grassy or hay-ish LOL..when my bud drys to fast i bag it up till the bud regains some moisture from ur stems then hang for a day then bag it up again..etc..till its fully dried

you should post up some pics... though truly pungent strains are pungent as soon as they are cut, and are very pungent even before cure... the smell you hav ewill improve dramatically with cure showing you more subtle undertones.

you most likely have bud that will produce the most intense smell after ground up.
