I love to wake and bake, I had always knocked it in high school since I had never smoked and only tried it for the first time in my adult life. Since then I end up smoking a couple of times a day now and nothing has really changed in my life because of it.
When I smoke in the mornings I don't try and get as fucked up as I can as quick as I can, I just relax and enjoy like 3 or 4 bowls (of schwag) over the course of about an hour or 2. I end up with an overall "good" feeling and it makes my day much more pleasant. I get more done at work and I tend to have a lot more "out of the box" ideas, some of which have saved my company a good deal of money.
So why the hell does our society put me in the same category as someone who drinks in the morning. My wife doesn't know I wake and bake but the few times we have talked about it she acts like it would be extremely sad if I woke up in the morning and "had to reach for my drug". I then asked her what was the difference between a morning smoker and a "gotta have it" coffee drinker or tobacco smoker? I know many people who are almost worthless without their first cup of coffee or first smoke. How about those who take anti-depressants for a year or more? Is it not normal that they take something daily to make them feel normal?
I just don't know why so many Americans see pot as a hard drug like alcohol instead of a soft drug like caffeine or nicotine.
