i think it has A LOT to do with the way people are these days. whenever i get edgy i go to my xbox live and "kill" people. it often makes me feel a lot better. sometimes it makes it worse though. :fire:

Supposedly around 145 million Americans played a video game in 2011. Even if 10 people committed mass murder that played video games that is still 0.0000000689655% of the entire video game population committed mass murder. Clearly the statistics do not support stupid people's hatred for media they don't agree with.

The media over here reported he played over 20 hours of Call of Duty, thusly making him "obsessed" apparently...eh, 20 hours is fuck all compared to most people.

HAHA that's on par with the statistics of gun owners to nutjobs killing with gun and they try to push that agenda. Never underestimate a liberal with an agenda you should see the fucking examples they can spit out quite hilarious.

Crazier?

In 1940 Hitler was committing genocide. Before that Stalin. That's just the last 120 years...
We once killed people who we declared witches, just because.

I don't think people are crazier. I do know that we have finally reached an age where media is EVERYWHERE now, and therefore lots of events in small towns that didn't make national coverage maybe ten years ago, now it's all out there with social media and the events now become huge national events. Under a microscope, and shoved in our faces constantly.

Dude, if anything, we've calmed down in the last 40 years or so. Until the 60's, in some states, it was legal to lynch a black man who walked on a white man's shadow.
