Why only part sad

Could be air flow, they got a little larger than I expected and definitely need more room next year, some fans for sure. It’s in the middle of a very open field and I thought with sides up 99% of the time the circulation would be enough like last year before I covered the pen
I also water roughly every 3-5 days depending on temp, they get 5gals medione @20ml/gal, molasses or bush doctor kangaroots, I alternate eow.

I’m 65 gal pots filled with ocean forest. They seem to hold moisture longer than the 20s I used last year
