I've heard that you can check the pH of your medium by testing your runoff from the bottom of your pot, I have done that and it seemed all good right around 6.6. Then I'd also heard that that method doesn't work, what do you think? And I've also flushed it once or twice with a whole bunch of demineralized water but it did not seem to make a difference
Testing my run off works for me.

First you would have to explain everything you have done already, you will need to mention what your plant is growing in, what you have been feeding it, what kind of lighting it's been exposed too, how long has it been growing for? Fill in these detail gaps then people can start telling you it's been starving for weeks and has been overwatered as well as having ph issues:peace:
Was serious for the whole comment...then the end lol. Love it
Too funny

I've yet to have any serious PH problems. I've often wondered exactly what causes them.

Promix HP with worm castings, perlite and vermiculite as well as sea soil compost.

Growing under compact fluorescent lights

I've tried a few different nutrients, One amusing now is apparently made by the guy that owns the Growshop. Aparently he came up with this awesome formula 20 years ago and it is been selling like hotcakes since.

Planted January 31. I just can't get this shit to work haha look at this, it's not doing good at all!

From the looks of it she's been horribly underfed, bump up your nutrients you should at least be at 500ppm.

I've been in your exact situation before. I've come to learn earth worm castings for me burn the living hell out of my ladies. I use hp promix and now add nothing. Only water with camg, and my three part flora series. I treat it almost like drain to waste hydro. Meaning ph all water to 5.8 for veg. I feed every other watering through veg with about 650 ppm. Every time I water untill runoff and text the runoff both for ph, and ppm. Once in flower I bump up ppm in water to 1000, and 6.0 ph. I stop feeding 2 weeks before harvest, flush and run ph water untill finished. My problem I had like yours stopped and now my only problem is increasing yields. Good luck hope this helps.

That most definitely helps thank you I appreciate it. I don't have a ppm metre though and I am laid off so money is tight. Do I need one?

What nutes? How much? How often? Did you start at 1/4? How strong was the last feeding? Exactly and how much did you feed after you flipped to flower? Do your plants appear to drink less or more when they yellow out like that?

How does it work? What exactly is the pH of the vial indicating?
I suppose it tells me the ph of my soil is within range still. I read that you could test the run off to check the ph and the ppm. When I water I mix everything together and ph it to 6.5 to 6.8. The run off in the picture tested 6.6 on my ph meter. Are you saying this method doesn't work or where are you going with the question?

Doesn't work for coco, not sure about soil....not my area

Ya im growing in soil (FFOF). Not saying its a concrete method I just read a little bit on it and figured there must be some truth to it. I PH whenever I water so I havent had a problem yet but figured it might help others if it works.

Like I said the Nutes that I am using is apparently something that the owner of the shop I get all my stuff came up with 20 years ago, he calls it wild thing.

I started at half, because the guy that sold it to me told me to start at a full dose. Last feeding was eighth of a teaspoon part a part B and part m, Little bit extra of Part m. Kept feeding it the same one I switched to flower, the guy at the store told me that was what I was supposed to do. I think they might drink a little bit more water when they're yelling like this, but I am not certain on that

But it's just getting worse and worse, check this out

Have the plants been in that same pot the whole grow ?? You may be root bound? Happens quickly in soil. Things you are pointing out lead me to think that ?If you are using water that has been purified or whatever then it is definitely lacking calcium and mag. That looks like mag. You need extra mag early in flower so it will get worse when they go into the flowering phase. Pot temps are also a big overlooked issue that people forget or don't know about . If it gets to cold in your room your plants will not eat and then you get salt buildup . Ph in pro mix always drops over time BAD which causes probs too but you said ph is 6.6 in the runoff ? So that isn't bad at all . Hope this leads you in a better direction.

Scroll down to #5, do slurry test instead. Take the sample from the root zone if you have issues with a specific plant. Run-off doesn't say much at all if it all just "runs off".
