I had the same argument in my head, there are so many random douches on this site, but at the same time there are plenty of worthwhile people to teach and to work with. Ignore list helps me.
works nice, because if i put them on there, then i honestly dont give a shit what they say and its hidden.

Yes my dilemma too there are plenty of nice, open minded people who can take constructive criticism without blowing the "oh you troll whistle" that the masses blindly follow without even reading the fucking posts! I like those people as it opens minds and other avenues to ideas, processes and growth as a grower. These idiots don't see that if you cannot open your eyes and think of things in different light or angle then you will never be the grower you can be.

Point example the troll (I call him that as he calls me one, but he is the only one acting like one) undercurrentdwc journal.

I state from his statement, that he uses STG Hail at $25 bag and gets like 24 net pots worth from that. Nothing else, like 20% faster growth, newer root development faster etc.. just that the raito to cost mix. So I chime in saying I use both, and hydroton at $10 bucks bag does 60 nets with no real improvement in plant growth, development, health etc when I used Hail over 2 harvests. So I chimed in (which I think was a personal attack) well if you state that is your only basis why you use Hail, you should use hydroton and save some money. Now he didn't have to use it, I was just basing a judgment on the information given. yet he goes off like I am hyping hydroton and trolling? What..? Huh?? I mean I really think this is posters reverse trolling, trying to save face making others look like trolls when they in fact need the self ego boost by the mindless buddies who will stick up for them as they see just one thing. Him calling me a troll, they don't read the posts, nor have the mental capacity to read and place judgement in a rational, common sense manner. Sad I know.

It is sad, but its the same with MMJ movement, so many bads trying to create rights, and it's a shame that we all got an inch and took 3 feet towards a real MMJ laws.

Here is a baby to the veg room, at just over a week my Chocolope Kush (Chocolope x Kosher Kush) DNA Genetics. She just woke up and snapped a pic for another thread so I thought I would share it in my journal.

Blue Cheese will be hitting 43 day mark week from Saturday as well as the Agent Orange and Super Lemon Haze this Monday, ooh can't wait for the AO it smells soo good, I am just hoping the smoke is as good.

I did trade my two Juicy Fruit for the DNA seeds Holy Grail Kush and Chocolope Kush, and I popped two more beans for the Juicy Fruit. I will document those along the way too.

Thanks man, the Agent Orange is a monster and buds are HUGE! I love this plant, unfortunately I didn't clone it. =( I will post up pics soon as I am baked and playing MW3 lol.

I missed Super Lemon Haze too much from last time I ran it, and just got some nugs out from harvest couple weeks ago.. damn that's some pugnet lemon almost eye watering.

No lake water, fish or other stupid shit in my buckets just RO water, so tweaked out monkeys need to look elsewhere. Maybe after you see these pics maybe I should use voodoo, magic, or some other crazy fad going on now instead of old school nutrients like DynaGro. :-P

Agent Orange Day 43

Bud shot of AO these things are the size of Clementines (small tangerine) right now instead of oranges LOL:

Sup brother.. I could care less what people think or say about my grow, it's just a personal attack like the last moron when he cried that he had to chop his plants down. Well he wasn't legal, if you don't have enough common sense that you are going to cut down a lot when renting a house and trying to peddle to other non-legals. Oh well.. he will be probably posting from the State Pen soon anyway.. no worries. Besides the smart or educated ones read my posts and maybe research my grows and realize when I argue about something that I do the research, the testing and apply real world common sense and practices in my conclusions for my growing. I am no pro by any means, but look at my plants and compare them to the morons arguing "asking" for help and then draw your conclusions.

Thanks for stopping by, ya I thought people didn't care for the root porn, I am a one man show so lifting the Agent Orange and Lemon Haze for root shots is near impossible. I will get some others but here are some vegging roots and plants. These aren't as sexy as flower roots yet, but this is how they all start.

Here is one of the chemdog clones, roots abundant in a week. Aero bucket cloner 100% success just cut and place in, no dome, no rooting gel/powder, no praying, no humidity dome, temps 68-75 and never an issue. I place them in neoprene sleeves naked until I see nubs of roots forming, you can usually see the white dots forming where roots will sprout. Before the roots take off I set them into rapid rooters so they have some stability in the hydroton/netpot. My cuttings range from 3" to 6" max probably most of them are in 3" range. I have rooted clones under 2" as well, so size doesn't matter unlike what women say.

cg_02.jpg

I have high hopes for chemdog as its rated tops in THC levels almost every time, and this plant I germed is a robust, fast rooting/growing plant I am going to LOVE this if the smoke is as killer as everyone says. Oh and the yield is good which it looks like it will be by the one in flower.

I wanted to snap of a pic of where I always keep my water line. I did testing over the years on DWC and this is the OPTIMAL place for me and the growth rates I recorded. If the water line is 1/2" higher into the net pot and the plant stalls, and starts to suffocate and root upward. Lower then the net pot plants seem to slow down but don't stall, so I keep it at the bottom and let it go down to about 1" then top off. Veg bucjets are (1) 1" air stone, plenty of O2 for the roots at that water line, you seen my roots and never a problem with proper water maintenance.

My water also moves like a small stream at the surface of the water too, I thought at first the roots would shear and have hard time with the water current. Nope, just grow.

Here is some root porn for the masses.. root mass!! LOL.. Super Lemon Haze mmmm.. zesty!

BubbleGum Root Ball

BG_root.jpg

Sugar Black Rose Root Ball

SB_root.jpg

Both at about 40 days into flower, so you can see they stay pretty white all through flower with just one 1" cylinder air stone and Aquashield. The Sugar looks bigger but that air stone must be bit stronger as the middle is sort of curved in where the air/water push through the root mass at all times. So it looks like a mushroom, but thick and super healthy. I really think having just the right size bucket is a major factor in my roots always looking new and white. Also makes the hairs thicker and stronger then normal, almost like fans do for leaves, I am no botanist but my plants love the setup right now!

Jezuz but they are packed and looked healthy to the end.. nice! I was using 3.5 to 5 gallon bucket but my plant height and root mass always never exceeded 4' on rare occasions. I tried the 2 gallons instead and they work real well for me and my plant size. They will drink the whole bucket in 2 days or so, it needs maitenance but the plants love the air they get when the water goes down.

I understand what you mean about the drama on RIU as of late. I too think I may just leave the forum. Its sad because I have been here since 2009, and since I barely write anything on here (unless its to help someone with their grow) I have low rep. Kind of sad, but eh. Low rep = low respect on this forum. Which means if I give someone growing advice, most people wont take what I am saying seriously.

I have been growing everything from corn to peppers and everything in between in soil and in hydro since I was 9 years old, yet it takes this artificial landscape we call "the matrix" er... the internet to divide us, confuse us and help bad advice spreed across the net like a bad rash. While I am always learning and open to try new techniques, I have a few things I can teach people, if they are open to learning and the idea that they may not know everything. Life is a road where if you are living it right, you will always learn something and grow with experience.

I like your style BigBuddah. Don't let the haters keep you down, I like your plants, they dont look wispy, they look appropriate for their strains and healthy. Keep up the good work :)

Next update we will probably be harvesting my lil Kushage mother that I flowered at almost nothing that is going to produce some dank thick nuggets for going to throw it away:

ks_01.jpg

Sorry for crap phone pics I need to buy another SLR Digital.. I miss it now that I am growing! Bah.. Also notice that between pics I defoliate leaves that block light from my plant, the plants always rebound and never studder as long as they are healthy. I have tried both ways and defoliating is the way to go from my findings as buds get bigger, more abundant and better light, air flow I mean there is nothing bad about it in my opinion.

Yes... some say "Oh god don't cut those leaves they feed the buds!!" well if they would read and research they would know that plants can transfer food, energy from fan leaves roots all around the plant, so the leaves I cut off get taken up by the ones I leave (per say). Besides with nutes always available in DWC I truly believe that they food is taken up there anyway when needed. Not sure but for me, getting rid of leaves is a must at stages in flower.

Peace!
