Will a sealed 3 x 3 x 6.5 tent smell with only 4 - 5 plants also in its own seal room

I have a 4x4x8h tent in a room with 4 plants. I'm running a 400 watt light so I'm venting and at the end of week 4 veg the place was already getting that "pot" smell. When I closed the door to the room it masked it but the inside room stunk.

You might be able to get away with it, but paying the 160 for a fan and 80 for the carbon filter that killed ALL smell was worth every penny. Peace of mind is well worth what you might spend on it but with 4 plants and growing with CFL you might be ok.

if you dont have money for a carbon filter and fan check out Roseman's odor bucket on here under the odour control thread.. cheap to make and works well

The solution: Airtight Grow tent with a carbon filter on the exhaust and an odor neutralizing agent near the exhaust

A tent wont hold the smell. It depends on what strain your growing. Indicas will reek and also you need some kinda ventalation. Good luck. Buy sum incense hee. Or carbon filter

I found this didn't work for me... I needed NO smells. But where his landlord knows he tokes it realy should be enough. Although for almost the cost of building one of them you could get a small cheap CanFilter 9000 I find it didn't get rid of all the smell for me but at least 85% of the smell. I paid $60 USD for my 4" Canfilter.
