Will airy buds get denser if left flowering?

Hi everyone.

I am pretty sure that judging by the trichome photos she is ready to be chopped but there are a lot of airy buds and I'm wondering if I just let her go a little longer would that even matter?

I don't mind bud that makes me more sleepy so more amber isn't a huge deal of I go a week or so longer but if those buds aren't going to get much better than I would rather chop now...

yes wait 70-80 days
it will make a huge difference.
I also lower light %, drop humidity, and drop temps the last few weeks to a month to try to preserve terpenes

focus on keeping them healthy until the last few weeks too and encourage fade by dropping nutes. the plants look really nice great job!

more days wont make denser buds at this point. thats mostly genetics. high temps can cause airy buds but yours look nice and healthy and well taken care of. I wouldnt sweat it. How she smokes is the real test.
Definitely assuming there are no other limiting factors genetics is the biggest factor in dense or airy type buds imo

Really dense buds is overrated, imo. Its just an aesthetic. Bag appeal is only important if you're hustling. Some of the best stuff ive ever smoked was super leafy fluffy outdoor, lemon skunk.
For personal use, I could care less about how it looks. These days I dont even trim sugar leaves. LOL

Definitely wait another week before harvesting. :bigjoint:
