What are you using as the indicator for that claim? Public education or ?

Do you believe that you have a right to run another persons affairs for them, if they aren't trying to run yours is probably the best way to put it.

Depends. Is the self-determination reasonable? Does it cause injury to another person or the population as a whole?

If it is the self-determination to infringe on another's liberty to say, have affordable access to birth control, then I would say that is unreasonable and injures the well-being of millions of women and thus our Nation as a whole.

I don't care if you have "access" to birth control or not, that's your business. Is it your business to force someone to buy or subsidize your birth control ?

Absolutely yes. I'll say it again: they had the freedom to leave, they still do, yet they choose to stay voluntarily.

No person is forced to be a citizen.

Are any people assumed to be "citizens" without their explicit consent ?

Also I think this is the part where I recommend you read some of Lysander Spooners essays.

You could move to the Bahamas or some other income-tax free territory and live off of the land.

Problem solved (and it's beautiful there)!

Thanks for thinking of ways for me to escape the plantation. I think I'll keep working as a conductor on the underground thought railroad though.

according to you , I own your children and you as well. Hmmmm does the Mrs. have a social security number ?
No, according to me, no combination of people owns others children, which is a good reason to disfavor government schools and how they are funded etc.

The Mrs. has curly hair and that's all I want to say about her, other than I'm very fortunate.

I think my original claim was that an aggregate of zeroes will still equal zero, which Sneeky Ninja did not address or refute instead he ridiculed.

I have agreed that I assumed Sneeky Ninja did not favor slavery. You've never offered me your opinion on whether you agree that slavery is wrong, is that because you needed to stroke your "find something to prove Rob Roy was wrongbecuase he made an assumption boner" or because you think slavery is okay?
All I'm trying to do is establish the parameters of the debate to determine whether they're fair. If you're the kind of person who doesn't take ownership of making a fallacious argument after it's been pointed out to you, you're likely to keep making them. At best, that makes you ignorant. At worst, that makes you disingenuous. Either way, you'll struggle to share your values convincingly with anyone of any intellectual credibility.

To reiterate: "A straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent."

You gave the impression (based on your assumptions) that SneekyNinja was for something in particular. Then you gave the impression (based on more of your own assumptions) that he was against something in particular. To complete the straw man, you gave the impression he had presented both conflicting ideas which, by your own admission, he didn't. Refute?

Yes, I assumed he was against slavery, but on second thought I think he supports Hillary, so I should have known.

By the way, you never answered my query about whether or not you supported self determination, do you ?

Also, I'm curious if you are obsessive compulsive?

This isn't gonna turn into one of those "does the rug match the drapes" kind of questions is it ?

For all you mind controlled libs...

near the end of this article, but to entice you to read it in full:

For Americans, a ghastly horrifying Halloween came early; but for ISIS the Autumn Moon glowed like honey dripping the sweet taste of revenge. In the Hijri calendar, the night of Oct. 1-2, 2017, marked the Islamic New Year, a blood sacrifice followed by a new dawn promising victory.

During Jeff’s YT video conversation with Dr Fetzer, Jeff says bullets were on top of the blood on Paddocks (supposed) body

as this article does infer, BUT, it also suggests they brought their own bigger, badder guns to the party. HOW?

oh and the connection to Obama/Holers Fast and Furious Mexican gun dealing gets exposed, and a possible reason for Paddock’s wealth. Hmmmmmm

Oooohhhhhh, he’s connected to Mena Arkansas: What’s sticks in my craw is those dates of employment at the mystery company simultaneous with Air Cocaine flights into Mena Airfield, a major aircraft maintenance center in Arkansas while Bill Clinton was governor. It was one of few jobs in that era where an ordinary employee (pilot or ground crew and manager) could earn a tax-free million dollars a year.
>
While Paddock and his Agency superiors set the trap as neatly as he would fill an accounting ledger, the ISIS gunmen quietly took their stations at the Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace, the Aria, New York New York, Tropicana and the Mandalay Bay, while an armed back-up team delicately nibbled on baklava with Turkish coffee, awaiting orders.

I think I understand your position now. You believe in everyone's right to self-determination, but you also believe ethnic minorities should go back to where they came from. Your beliefs are conflicted.

So, how is a person being born into a status they didn't agree to not like a person being born into a status they didn't agree to ?
When you were born, you were a minor (duh). Your parents decided for you (again) as you decided for your fucked up children.

Not quite. I do believe individual people have a right of self determination.

Ethnic minorities ? How did you conclude that ?
