First of all I just want to say all advice and comments are welcome. I don't mind people posting in my journal. Ty
I started a batch of bag seed just to get something going until i get some good seeds in.....so here we go...
I started by germinating some bag seeds in a paper towel, then after they cracked (24 hours) I planted them in Rapid Rooters. I put the Rapid Rooters in a seed flat, under a humidity dome, on a heating pad. After the first seed leaves appeared and roots started coming out the side of the Rapid Rooter, I replanted them to 4 inch pots and I put them under two 26 watt CFL's , running at a 18/6 on/off light cycle. When the first tru leaves showed themselves I removed the humidity dome, and moved the lights to with in three inched of the seedling.
When the seedling was about two weeks old 4-5 inches tall, I put it under a 400 watt MH light. I put the light 2 1/2 - 3 feet away from the seedling, and after just a few days it was time to replant again. This time I use 1 gallon Black & white poly grow bags, and I am using Black Gold Organic potting mix.
Week three I gave them their first taste of nutes. I am using the three liquid Fox Farm nutes Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom. I will also be trying for the first time Bushmaster, Gravity, and Snowstorm Ultra. Back to the first feeding of nutes... I used it a 1/2 strength recommended dose and I use plain PHed water every other watering.
Week 4 the plants are now really starting to grow, so i decided it was time to go full strength with the nutes. I also at that time decided to top all the plants.
Week 6 Everything is looking good, and They are now between 12 & 15 inches tall. So I gave them a heavy watering and let about 20% run off. Two days later I decided it was time for 12/12 so I mixed up 3 mil per gallon of the Bushmaster and fed all my plants with it. I waited until the lights went out for the night and switched out my MH conversion bulb for my 400 watt HPS. At this time I also change my timer to 12/12 instead of 18/6.
I would have cut clones to see which are male and female, but I figured that would just be a wast of time. I got Feminized seeds that I plan on making my mother plants. I just planted the bag seed to get some product ASAP. I will up date tomorrow with lots of pics!
Here are some pics of my progress. I inserted text to explain the pics! I will try to give a pic update at least once a week! Until next time ...GROW SAFE!
I decided that it was time to transplant for the last time! I started off in Rapid Rooters, then to 4" pots, then 1gal. Grow bags, and now finally I will transplant into 3gal Grow bags. I am using only Black Gold organic potting mix, and PHed water with 1 Table spoon H202. I was surprised to see as many roots as I did using the Grow bags, they worked great. I hope to get at least two females out of my four plants. From now on I'll be checking with a magnifying glass every day, to see if I can spot any BALLS. LOL If I do I will Terminate with Extreme Prejudice.lol
I also added a few new pics If you wanted to see what they look like in the 3 gal . Grow Bags. Comments are welcome!! Criticism too...LOL
