They are tiny! and very stretched! Half the strength dude! Make it 0.4 or something. So is this your first ever grow?

Sighh Ill flush it friday. >< I have a very heavy class load tomorrow (college). Its my very first everrr. MY PH WONT STOP RISING. I added 400 ppm 5.2 ph water and get redicously increase in both 24 hrs later. I DONT GET IT

And yess this is my first grow. Ill go buy 10 more gallons of distilled water and re-do the nutes to .4 and then PH it to like 5.0.. expecting it to increase AGAIN. Then Ill install my 600w dimmable digital light/cooltube in. Probably run the 600w at the lowest setting (25%) and wait for the plants to "un-stretch" so to speak. Decent idea? How can I fix this stretching! Its pissing me off

Ph rises when temp rises. Cant "unstretch" the plants but they will get better now the lights are closer. Just gotta wait now. You could try staking them up if they are falling over?

Yeah they are. Im supporting them with fellow failed germ'd rockwool cubes. As you can see in the pic I had that one long one showed falling over and then I supported it with the rockwool cube. lolol

Proper curing > starving your plants for 2 weeks. Flushing is just for people that dont know how to properly cure imo. Not a single farmer starves their fruits/vegetables before they are harvested, washed, and enjoyed.

LOL it makes your buds taste like shit. Ive smoked unflushed many times and there is definately a difference in the taste and the way it burns. The farmers your talking about grow in soil. Very different. Also Ive heard hydroponic tomatoes need to be flushed or they have a metallic taste to them. And what has it got to do with properly curing? Curing comes after the harvest.

The majority of weed that "needs" to be flushed usually isnt cured properly is my point. Alot of people mistake spicy/harsh weeds that arent cured/harvested properly as the lack of flush. Ive never had a problem with weed that hasnt been flushed. Ive had flushed weed that tastes like ash before so Im not a firm believer in starving your ladies before chop.

So JimmyJam these plants are way to stretched out. Wtf can I do? I just wanna order some pineapple express and start over in 3 weeks >< its aggrivating. I wont realistically.. but

Just be patient Vumar. They may come good. Is there roots dangling in water/nutes yet? Have you dropped the EC yet?

My PH and nutes are out of control right now. PH 6.3 and .95 EC! No sign of burn.. however I'll be doing my third (yes third.... First batch was 150 ppm.. too weak imo) res change tomorrow (roughly 10-20 hours from now). The lil seedlings dont seem to be tooo bothered.. still green but growth is slow IMO. Maybe Im just impatient.... but they all have the 2nd set of leaves now which I guess is a good sign. My res temp is at 80 degrees too. The heat is killing me... changing salt water frozen bottles whenever I can. Temps settle to 75-77 at night/cool day usually.

I got my 6" cooltube with lumatek 600w digital dimmable ballast with digilux 600 MH bulb in the mail today! Just still contemplating which centrifugal fan I will need to keep the bulb cool in a closet. I was thinking the 171 CFM fan at first just to get the proper CFM for a small closet. Then I started thinking.. the more air flow.... the cooler the temps. So now Im thinking a 400 CFM fan? Too much for a closet that doesnt even have 70 CF?

No sign of roots at all. I feel like my plants should have 3-4 sets of leaves and roots by now. Instead they are stretched and rootless from the rockwool/hydroton down.

What CFM rate should I get?! Room is 70 CF, I can get a 171 CFM or a 400-ish CFM (Trueline Centrifugal Fans). I dont wanna suck my plants out with a redic fan but I want to make sure the light stays cool... very cool. Thoughts on a high CFM exhaust vs a smaller cfm exhaust and some-how vented cold air into the closet?

Ohhh and my PH meter has never been re-calibrated and Im sort of unsure of how it works. Ive got the red Hannah PH meter. I dont know what solution it requires, where to get the solution, and how do calibrate the meter itself. I saved all the paperwork for my pumps, lights, etc.... so Ill check through that tomorrow for sure.

You prob need ph buffer solution.. I had a electronic ph meter but it died lol. To calibrate that I had to first put it in a ph 4.0 solution and then into a ph 7.0 solution to calibrate it. Was a bit annoying to tell you the truth. Now I just use the drops. If you cant find any instructions for it go and ask the guy at ya local hydro shop.
