securedownload-5.jpgHey stone and other SCROG dudes. How many of these would you put per 4x4 area? They will veg another 4 days and are growing an inch or so a day. Ive used trellis before in large scale but it was mostly to hold plants up and i never scrogged in a tent. These girls double in size and the BD im doing on other side triples aftern12/12.

I keep thinking 4 as that would create a decent canopy but ponder if 6 would utilize the light footprint better. Cheers....or maybe i should just oick up another light lol...

The 99 kb picture is one with fresh tie down next to one that hadnt been tied down again for size reference and one with my hand..my hand is about 7 inches long.securedownload-9.jpg

thx ppl love this thread
i'v 10 kush-o-matic running now in hydro drip irrigation and took 12 clones last wk that i planned to do in soil but since finding this thread will b going in hempys oh n the o matic bit turned out to be bs.
bought em from justfeminized.com(never again)and on site instuctions said would flower under 18/6 after 10 days so i switched to bloom as u would but 2 months on n they're only in the pre flowering stage,in a way i'm glad they ain't auto but wish i found out sooner so i could have given them the right nutes but oh well its done now an i'v got 10 decent lookin indy bushes begging to go 12/12 witch brings me to a question
i plan to take another bunch of clones and i'm wondering if i should give them some recovery time after i do and if so how much?

in case of an emergency saliva does work as a rooting hormone lol i tested this n thought i would share for the heck of it,started with 11 plants but had an accident n wasn't prepared for cloning so read up for home made's n couldn't find any willow trees,it took 3 wks but it did take with only 2 mistings the whole time

could only show hydro pic's so i'l wait till the wkend n post hempy chit

Since starting hempy grows I seem to keep any container and think about growing a hempy in it. But yes coffee and cannabis 2 of my favorite things in life.
It's called "Hempy Fever"......I know I have it. I see things in stores and imagine drilling a hole in the side of it and packing it with coco. I see containers in the trash at home and at work and think "what can I grow in this?" so I pull them out and wash them up.....

My wife picked up some Nicotiana seeds at the hydro store.(flowering tobaco). It's taken well to coco over perl and some Canna nutes here and there.

Shiva, I hate to take the easy way out but it is hard to see how much coverage you need. Could you get an overhead shot, maybe a 45 degree angle. I always lst like you are, spread her out and then veg my screen about 60-75% full. I place my screen at 6" above my buckets, but I would recommend setting yours at around 8". You would be surprised at how much difference 2" will make when you reach under the canopy and pull branches down and move them over. Plus you are going to want to be able to get under that canopy and cut out any growth that doesn't reach screen level by week 3 of flower.

IME training seems to limit flower stretch some, maybe around 20% or so less stretch. I would set my screen at 8", arrange the 4 plants under and get a good visualization of where you think the girls will stretch. Remember to picture your stretch going in equal amounts in four directions out from the center.

I guess my short answer would be that 4 should give you good coverage, but placing a 5th one in the center in an X shape might give you the best footprint. I would set your screen, see how much screen coverage you have now (Shoot for 60% this time) and if at all possible allow yourself a little extra veg time to let the 4 plants cover that area rather than adding more plants. Sounds like with the growth you have, extra veg time should be minimal.

If I can help with anything else you know I'm here for you. Peace

How big are your pots Shiva? If they are 5 gallons, I'd go 4 max give each one a 2x2 area to fill in, since you are going to 12/12 in a few days, you might go 5 or 6 and give them there own light.

What up WOH!!! I know I've been MIA for a bit but I have good reason.... the last couple of weeks I've been putting all my time and effort into a new grow space. Its 90% complete but I thought I'd share some pics... no plants in there yet but as soon as I get everything set up I have a bunch of plants ready to go in. I'll be running two 600w hid and two 420w LEDs (testing the waters), AC, co2, dehumidifier etc. All in a sealed 7x10 room. My goal is to grow fewer but bigger plants to keep me within my plant limits. Lemme know what you guys think so far....

Looks awesome!! My only concern is your AC. Make sure it is a (through the wall) model or you could run into condensation problems directly behind the mounting flange/poly. Which in turn would soak an rot that whole wall. Aside from that, can't wait till you have it up & running. Peace!!

Yes its a window AC with recirculating setting (reuses room air so doesn't waste co2). I have it mounted in/through a window then I sealed the rest of the window with plywood and cauking. Placed poly over the walls and taped all seems so its all air tight.

Are your kush o mystic auto flowers? If so they will not clone. You can't clone autos.

Well spotted. Sky Rocket.

Kush-O-Matic is a Hindu Kush Hybrid cross with the Ruderalis.

This Indica based strain is short in stature and very compact. The plants finish fast and in testing 16 plants is optimum under one light, running on an 18 hour continuous light cycle. Yields can be expected at around 2 oz each so comparing to standard feminised plants, per meter output can be increased and the finished time shortened.
Kush-O-Matic retains the full Indica body stone that Kush provides and because of the short stature and density of the buds even the smallest of spaces can be used with great affect.
We are hoping this strain will be in continuous supply as our first batch is limited to only 2500 seeds. We are expecting this one to be very popular so make sure you add it to your collection now.

Sex : Feminized
Type : Indica / Sativa
Flowering : Autoflowering
Genetics : Hindu Kush hybrid
Flowering Time : 7-8 weeks
Indoor Harvest : 9-10 weeks
Height : Short
THC Level : High
Characteristics : short in stature and very compact

Renton;

If you want something similar but without the 'Ruderalis' you could try the 'Violator Kush' on first page of 'WOH' its Hindu Kush x Malana Kush. I think. and it clones easy.

thats them moe was a bit of a hasty buy but i do love the indy. although thats the only thing i can say for sure about the seeds i was sent its an indy alright, deep green short fat leaved bush but it's not automatic only showed sex after 6wks(18/6, bloom nutes, good temps) and can b cloned even with just saliva so its a bit of a puzzle, just my luck to b honest iv never liked auto's.it's my 1st time doing one and prob the last,i like control of the flip for trainging like some of the ppl here so next run will b new seeds

what seeds would u guys recommend to push the 2ltrs to the max?i'd like to try some white widow or a cross of,maybe some big bang

dont know why my profile pics not showing

Here's the first pass at trimming the largest of my Sharksbreath cola's and you my hempy friends get first the first view. Lots of fox-tailing, which I seem to be doing more of, grow by grow and I don't know why (good or bad, I don't know). Long as my arm? No....maybe as wide.

hehe. Great plant. LOADSA BUD. It seems to have taken a 'helix' shape too.

I'm in trimming and hanging mode as well. Oh the pain. lol.

edit:
With foxtailing I think its just down to different strains now. and purely cosmetic.

Excessive heatwaves are known to cause foxtailing aswell. Similar to how certain vegetables like broccoli, califlower and lettuce will bolt. I believe it also has to be in the strain, genetically. jmo :)
