Ya, unless the poster meant like a coffee cup, then maybe hes right, it may be rootbound. Sorry, I really hope the next person that has rootbound issues sees this thread but... I doubt that will happen :( I promise I mean nothing against you poster, it is perfectly logicaly to assume things like rootbound as an issue. I have personally read in the "growers bible" that a rootbound plant is better off being tossed. It's probably true if you truely roobind the plant. The only problem is everything you see seems to forget to describe what roobound means really. I said a 6 or so week old jiffy cub plant may be rootbound, but I honestly have no idea if thats true, all I can say is that you plant is not rootbound to the point of being done for. It on the other hand probably will not get much larger unless you re-pot it. This is not the thing though. If you want the biggest plant you can, you need the biggest container you can. You could honestly grow a 20 foot plant if you had the lighting and pot size, but its just not practical (you need to just veg for a long ass time).

I am not trying to attack you poster, just trying to help have the info out there. It is suuuuuper easy and one of the top 5 (im pulling this number out of my ass) most common issues for new growers. I fell for it and the only reason I know about just how hard it is, is because I let my plants veg for almost 2 months in plastic party cups, they got huge and I was posetive I f'ed the pooch but didnt have anything better to do than to try and keep them and when I repotted, they just kept dgoing like nothing happened.

In short: repot if you think yo can not pissthe plant off to much. Does it have a handle? cuz the roots grew into it and it may be dangerous.
