So weeks later, no other mushroom has shown through the soil. The issue i thought was pH actually ended up being lack of drainage/air in the soil. Or essentially compaction of the soil.
Bottom line:
I am almost positive that the mushroom was not parasitic, but probably a mycorizall strain showing its reproductive organ. Had I know, would have probably left if so its spores will be in my tent forever, fungus spores are ridiculous, you'll never get rid of them no matter how hard you try. But beneficial ones are the best.
