That doesn't make much sense, get some pics up of your res, pump, and setup so we can tell you.my air temp is fine @ 77 F but my res water temp is 90 F please dont tell me to go buy a chiller im not an idiot im lookin for a cheap/cleaver ideas not simple ones that i have already thought of

See what results you get from covering it like that. Black will absorb a lot of heat.i know it doeesnt make sense
the to of my res is black and its only 24" from my 1000 watt mh i have a beasty fan and am able to cool the light/room to 77F
i covered the lid in mylar in hopes to reflect the light/heat away
i have a aeroponic sys inside the tub.
It is working, if it drops it any then you should leave it or paint it or get a white lid. Temp problems are usually defeated by multiple changes.not working maybe 3-4 degrees
Sure, the humidity in the res alone will keep the roots moist for a while. But if you're worried you can hand-water them every 15 mins or so. This is just a troubleshooting test, not a permanent solution. You should see the temp start dropping within a half-hour.a couple hrs can my plants handle it wit out water for that long
Did you check your pump to make sure that is what is causing it?hell yea sophanox thanks that seems like an easy way to fix my res temp problem
ill buy one today do you by chance know what temp is best for a res.
