my Skunk #1 seedling is getting droopy leaves and they look pale, like if they are turning white.they dont look pale in the pics but i can see a shade of white on the leaves. i have them in rockwool cubes rite now.watering has been a pain in the ass. i water with ph'd water around 5.5 - 6.the cube got dry on me once, and the seedling fell over so i have been making sure there is water in there.my guess is im overwatering.but im not sure how to keep the cube moist without over watering.heres some pics.

My guess is over watering. It is very possible to kill them with water. It's better to have them on the too dry side than the too wet side.

Try dipping just the bottom of the rockwool into your water instead of watering from the top.
The cube will soak up some water while not soaking the whole cube.

My guess is over watering.

Like everything else in this ¨Plant problems´ forum it is a GUESS.

Is it overwatering, underwatering, N def, Mg def, over ferting, underferting, pH too high, pH too low - is it a bug, is it a virus ?????????????????????
Well your guess is as good as mine or that of any other naive kid in here.

...wtf? ...got issues?

the other day when i came home at night the seedling had fallen over and the cube was bone dry.this shit is confusing.not too much water, not too little water.
ive been trying to keep her moist,i mist her about 4 times a day. im going to try only 3 today and see if she kicks back up.

Don't mist the seedling all the time, it basically suffocates them.

Just keep the rock wool, moist not wet.

I've always ONLY used Qt. cups. I fill with FFOF,Water soil good, pop seeds in and Bamm!!. Within 14 days Their in their new homes.last two pics are same day, went from Qt. to 3gal pots.

i use a spray bottle.i just gotta figure out a watering schedule so it dont get dry.the 1st set of leaves, that are droopy are pale.half of the leaf faded its color.im preety sure shes still alive.she would of slumpt over by now.You guys think the leaves will turn back original color?

probably not. Once they're damaged, they're done. Watch for new growth. New growth with a good color is your key that you're making headway. You're right though, if she hasn't fallen over, there's still hope. Good luck.

its hard to get a good macro shot on my camera,it sucks balls. but you can kind of see the leaves have turned pale.i was kinda hoping they perked up already, i cut down on the watering.ive been reading the growers bible by jorge cervantes lookins for what the problem can be and the only thing i can come up with is a Magnesse(mn) or copper(cu) deficiency. It doesnt say anthing in here about the leaves turning pale if underwatered or overwatered. so idk. should i hit it up with some all purpose plant food? 7-9-6 at a low dosage? mayb it needs some food?

the coldest my room gets is 76 degrees.i dont even have a fan blowing on them. you cant really tell from the pics. but the leaves are all pale. one of the cotyledons broke in half by mistake.and i read that this is where the seedlings get their food from in the 1st phase of it life.Ive cut down on watering by half. i used to mist 4 times a day now i mist only 2.i think its just getting worse. anyone think i should give her food?

damping off disease, to much moisture. droped a few seedlings like that in my day using rockwool lol. like everyone else has said dont let it be so wet, i dip the corner of a cube into water for 2 secs once a day till i see roots
