Ok so this is my 2nd grow of white widow x big bud, last round just 1 28" plant with cfls harvested dry about 2 1/4-1/2 ounces of some very tasty potent pot, unfortunately the density i was hoping for just wasnt there, my bulbs were setup as in one of the pics, im removing the 4 23w in the middle and replacing with a 180w ufo 9 band (430-440nm, 450-475nm, 620-630nm, 650-660nm and white with IR at 730nm) 60x3w, so as for lighting this run will be 2x 125w dual spectrum lotus bulbs, 4 23w cfls mounted above the lotus bulbs (not sure why so far away) and a ufo in the middle as described above, my lighting pic is below to give u a better perspective, soil is still MG moiture control, and nutes in flower are schultz 10-60-10, no veg nutes really with this soil and these plants are from clone not seed, just thought i should mention that, i will update again after the ufo arrives and is installed, currently the plant on the right is about 3 weeks in and the left is just finishing week one into 12/12. Being that im a COMPLETE Noob in the LED scene any input on light to plant distance would be awesome and appreciated greatly thanx for visiting :)

K so ups tracking was accurate thank god 13 days is a little ridiculous in my opinion, but anyhow here she is ..... Really bright to the naked eye, crazy color spectrum, i can tell deficiency issues will be a bit harder to detect so let the actual test begin hope u guys enjoy it :)

I would like a opinion or 2 on this though, should i just ditch the 4 23w cfl coils above the lotus bulbs? Seems like a waste to me being 12 inches away from the plants and all, would save me bout 100w (92) it does make the reflections a bit brighter but im not sure what if anything is usable.

Oh yea its on now! Light looks great in there. Which seller was it from? Does it throw much heat? How close is best, 12-18 inches? Plants look great too, btw.

Lgledsolutions.com is the company that it came from, recommended height is 1.5-2 ft above plants for flower, im prolly closer to 12 inches atm and the heat is not a issue being that the only bulbs that really produce any is the 23w bulbs, the ufo really doesnt produce much at all the lotus bulbs i can touch and no burn in my basement its cold so any heat from the bulbs is good but as far as heat production on the ufo, very minimal.

15" harvested density seems better than the 1st one, but that could be due to height/root space and more confined spacing during flower, the true test will be the 18" plant 3 weeks from now, heres some pics of her hanging to dry

Plant #2 on harvest night, sorry it took so long to update, mom is now in the flower cab, had some heat stress on her either that or could have been nute burn from transplanting into preferted soil without flushing it out, either way heres some fuzzy pics from chop night, 15" plant dried out to about 38g, so im hoping a cpl more weeks of led helped out density wise, they feel heavier but that could just be my hopes as well, im gonna keep the thread open for mom as she will be the 1st plant to get all bloom with the ufo added.

My box has been taken down as im going to reconstruct my grow area, i decided if im going to be using led lighting im going to need more height and room in general, since my last post i have purchased a 450w led from joyhydrogrow on ebay, I requested it to be specified towards flowering with no 6500k white leds and instead more of the red leds, but to still have a few blues running, it has not arrived just yet which is ok with me as I still have a lot to do before it arrives and i will also be ordering another 400-600w led soon but for now this will get me by, these pics are of mom on day 30. Shes not doing quite as well as my prior plants but i took alot of clones from her so thats pretty much expected not really expecting much from her its alot cooler in the area since the box was removed.
