Yeast/sugar co2

Hi all(I posted this in another place but couldn’t figure out how to move it )

I have read lots and lots about people making there own bush league c02 generator with yeast/super/baking soda for small grows/tents/closet etc..... question is how big have people gone with them and will bigger generate more c02? Example of a 2L bottle vs a 5gal bucket? Dose the ambient temperature play any role and has anyone thrown an air stone in the mix to keep things moving?

Not worth it. If you have a sealed environment and you’ve maxed out getting the most with a stellar environment then you can look to co2. If when you do go to co2 just get an actual tank and proper controller.

That’s the thing tents are hard to completely seal up and have a perfect environment, you see lots with the “exhale” bags or the 2L bottle looking thing , it’s just for adding a little extra C02 to the environment. Suger and yeast are dirt cheap , like dirt dirt cheap

It’s not the point. You need to have maxed out and gotten the most out of your grow to really see the benefit of co2. Looking back at your previous grows on here it looks like you have a ways to go before adding co2. Too many things to get dialed in first. As for those exhale bags not worth the money neither is making a co2 generator like a bucket full of water, sugar and yeast. Main thing is those sort of things don’t produce enough to matter and typically don’t last long.

What benefit do you think the minimal amount of CO2 you would generate from a bucket of sugar and yeast is going to provide?
