Yep, another topping question

I was wondering if you topped a plant above the third true node and it should have been the second true node, if after a week, can you go ahead and cut again at the second true node? Would this change anything? The reason I ask is that there is no growth after a week after topping and I am a little worried. Granted the branches that are left are friggin' huge and are as big as the main stem itself. So, any help would be greratly appreciated.

thats a dumb idea unless ur cloning the cuttings. u would just be delaying veg time. theres nothing wrong with cutting at node 3 4 or whateverthefuck
