Yesterday's Mass Shooting.

So what you are saying is we need to roll our kids around in poutine to lube them up first, then the bullets just slip past?

We have no choice but to reinvent the wheel. There is no realistic approach to doing anything on the hardware side that will affect mass shootings. We can say that we need to do this or that, but all that was said twenty years ago and here we are, saying the same things and not doing things. It would be much easier to get rid of public schools than it would be to ban semi-auto's, in the US.

Agree but i think decay is just that and with out some attention it will move to the next item. Lets be dark for a moment. How many heads could you bash in in 45 minutes with the right club
that is a false equivalency...a club is a close up weapon that relies on strength, if i attack someone stronger than i am with a club, they may well be able to disarm me and bash my head in with my own weapon...if i attack someone with a gun, they better be fucking fast enough to get ahold of it and make sure it's aimed away from themselves, or no matter how big they are, they're going down...

Sounds like this will be a long thread.

I understand this but my dark scenario involves people the perp knows is much smaller and weaker like forgive me a room full of kids and a normal size woman and maybe the perp isn’t a kid but a man, a large one

Im not going further with that thought/ talk. I think you know my point of there are ways other than a gun to commit such atrocities if we can’t figure out what’s causing the desire to do this

Sick is sick and i get a gun is fast but seems to me most of this shit is simmering and brewing in these shooters . Not typically done in a brief moment of rage but planned and carried out.time allows twisted minds to make twisted plans

I don’t either.

Besides, video games are passé when you can larp without consequence.
Do you think mental illness plays a roll in these kids deciding to shoot innocent children? If yes, you dont believe that a kid, a teenager with no proper guidance at home, or worse, cant be influenced by a realistic first person shooter game?

I've already stated I dont believe the games alone cause shootings ( Adam Lanza was obsessed with COD but also loved dance dance revolution) But i think they can warp an already fragile mind.

It starts at home imo

Can't get rid of sick Americans and you can't get rid of guns so....enjoy the broken record murders.

"I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz."-Al Franken

Here, Cruz goes through the tired routine when tough questions are asked, this time from Sky News, the English Fux Nooz.
