I have 2 cats, both female and yes cats feel love. Any cat owner will tell you basically the same thing.

I fucking love my cat, and he loves me back. it may not be the same as "human love", but it makes me feel so good when he's excited to see me. he's always trying to be close to me, and even gets jealous when i show my girlfriend or her cat more attention. it's hard to explain, but there's a little person in there. I was thinking the other day about how much it will suck once he passes...

i had a cat live to 20 is that long for a cat? all my dogs and cats for whatever reason have lived 18 to 20 years so far.

my girl cat is 17-18 about, ive never had a cat die of old age b4(*edit* that i can remember that is) my last 2 cats choked to death eatng plastic b4 they were 10!*sad* but 15-20 is a good estimate for cats and ive heard 10-15 forbigger dogs and 15-20 for lap dogs.....my grandma used to have a vet license and thats what she said when i was a younger when i asked her.

terrier breeds live the longest as you said the biggest dogs not as long. i wish animals had life spans similar to people. its always sad losing a beloved pet but not so bad when they die of old age something tragic is different though.

also i have noticed people who enjoy cannabis enjoy animals most of the time. animals like me better when im stoned as my energy is more calm and peaceful where as when sober im very intense which bothers most animals it seems. aquariums can be very enjoyable as well.

I have 3 girls and they LOVE me and my fiance. The oldest will actually carry out a conversation with you. I think as long as you love your cat as more than just a pet then they will do the same...

he's 3.
I found him as a kitten out in the woods looking for old VWs... he was actually living in one with a bunch of other kittens, and they all ran. he stayed, looked up at me and went "take me!". most talkative cat ever.

Cats are smart. I had a cat years back that had survived getting hit by cars THREE times. Anyhoot when she was old she was arthritic...I used to smoke the same time everyday...she knew when and she come and visit to get a contact high. Then after WE smoked... i usually practiced guitar. She would lay inches in front of the amp (a Marshall half stack at that) and just be in heaven. Maybe the vibrations from the amp felt good? Maybe she was going deaf and she could actually feel the sound then? I dunno but this was our routine for the last 3 or 4 months of her 16 year life.
If that cat didn't love me...she atleast liked my habits a whole lot.
