Day 15

I watered yesterday with molasses and superthrive, no problems as of yet so it's liking them I think. Today I took out the exhaust fan and replaced it with a different 120mm fan that is rated at about 45cfm and is on a separate charger, so I'm getting better airflow now and reduced the temps by about 2 degrees inside the case.

I bought an ozone generator for the smell just to make things easy on myself. This removes any worries I had over the smell and for a reasonable price since it will probably last a long time. Yay! I'm glad I have a job...

I went outside to survey the pastures behind my house because I'd like to attempt an outdoor grow this summer. I bought 5 kiwiskunk seeds, they claim they are pretty mold-resistant, and still smell skunky, they're sativas and I will eventually start a thread for those once I'm ready to plant them and show you all the place I picked out for them.

Anyways, here's pics.

Sub'ed up, are you still only using the 4 cfls right now?

Yes, but I think I need to either change the way the lights are setup (still figuring what I can hold them in place with) but I may add 2 lights sometime this week and that will probably be it. Thanks for following.

Day 16

I did some more LST today to get Stubby going in a circle. Hard to tell she's turning but she is believe me. It will show in a few days probably. I moved one light and taped it to the side of the pot, not sure if it will be any more effective since it's kinda far but the undergrowth should get a little more light.

Also, I was thumbing through the fan leaves to check out all the branch nodes and undergrowth, and I think I see two separate preflowers so I will keep an eye on those and take pics if I'm able in a few days. Maybe plants mature faster under a 24/0 cycle? I hope so! Okay here's some pics.

You can definately tell they are getting much better from that heat burn a few days back. are you gonan do that thing where it gets your like 2+ main collas?

Nah, honestly the heat stress scared me into thinking that it could hermie potentially, since I heard fem. seeds tend to do that. So no topping on this grow. I really just want to get this one finished before I try anything fancier than LST. I'm also wondering when I should actually switch to 12/12... I was going for day 21, but I may go as early as day 18.

Oh yeah i guess your right that would suck if it hermied >.< Well How tall can your plant grow since its in your pc case? Might be a good idea to do it soon if your low on room

Well.. since I'll be lsting the whole way the only thing I have to worry about is the shoots going up from the main cola rather than the height of the main cola itself.. I am anxious to start 12/12 don't get me wrong.. And I probably won't get a huge harvest anyways so maybe I should just go for 18 to make myself happy lol. 18 is plenty anyways for a pc grow..

Yeah us pc growers don't have much room anyways, don't worry about your yield haha as you can see lucy isnt very HUGE...hmmm haha

Honestly id be perfectly happy with 10 grams.. but I want 15..

Day 17

Hey all.

Took some pictures quickly because I'm going out to dinner soon. Stubby is just becoming more and more of a bush every day. I need to take pictures of all the undergrowth because it's almost growing just as fast at various nodes than the main cola growth. It's amazing. I ordered some 42W 2700k lights, but they were only like 3 bucks a pop so I'm not really sure how good they will be for that cheap lol but we will see. Still don't know when I'll switch to 12/12. Today i kinda thought of waiting till Day 21 again, so I probably will wait till then. I didn't check if it needed water, probably will tomorrow. So an update with a little more pictures tomorrow.

looking good bro. how much vertical height do you have left. usually takes alround 2 weeks to show sex. the first 4 weeks of flowering is when they will stretch the most so be ready for that. you may want to switch em over now. from what i have noticed, plants stretch more under 2700k than under 6500k. when plants get too tall in my case i use this stuff called bushmaster. it helps to stop vert growth and throws em into flower faster.

Well they are sitting on top of 5 or 6 dvds but I thought if I keep doing lst then then the vertical height wont be an issue. But I will take your word for it and switch to 12/12 tomorrow. If I have space left at the end of this grow I will just know next time. Thanks man. I may look into bushmaster if it isn't that pricey.

so crazytrain if it takes 8 weeks to flower do the two weeks it takes to show sex count or is it 8 weeks after the two weeks it takes to show sex??

You are supposed to count from when you see sex rather than when you start 12/12
