We invented food, we get to call it what we want!

You sure got grilling and BBQ,but leave the real cooking to other nationalities :-P just kidding. You guys have amazing food. What I would give to get myself back to america and to the southern states for some real BBQ. In the UK BBQ generally means burnt burgers and hotdogs :-D
I wanna go to the US just to try out the bbq , my god it looks so tasty
All the rubs and marinades , smoke houses , sauces etc
Hey ttt have you seen Robson Green ? He is so funny !

Man VS Food....Adam is the big homey lol dude seems really cool. I used to watch that show all the time back when he was doing the challenges. I heard that he stopped doing the eating though, now he goes to the restaurants and watches other people stuff themselves full of food. I watched a few episodes but its just not the same. I am ashamed to say it, but I miss watching that man stuff his face with fatty foods lol

happy he apparently lost weight though

Adam is awsome , i've seen every ep of man vs food , I always go back to you tube and watch them again and again .
The new show is man vs food nation , He still goes around the place finding the best food joints and eats stuff .
It's just the main challenge at the end he coaches other people to complete the challenge .

I also love watching Bizare foods with Andrew Zimmern , Some of that food is weird !!!

Definitely man! There are a lot of that kind of thing in London, although from what i've seen, pretty commercial. But in my part of the cou/ntry, there is nothing. I just love the simplicity of the operation. There is no need for a second mortgage so as to buy fancy tableware, no pimping the missus to pay for fancy ovens and whatnot. I love the premise of places where you simply go out for good food, not places where you have to dress up and make an occasion of it. The whole eating around the central bar was fantastic, i can't think of a single place on this side of the country with that kind of atmosphere. The kitchen at cafe de klos was smaller than most places walk-in fridge, yet a man and a grill was all the place needed. Will be going back for certain come the summer. Wasn't a fan of the smoked ribs though, i'll stick with regular.

I do love seafood, as much as i do meat, but alas in the UK, seafood costs an absolute fortune, let alone line caught, fresh seafood. I hate the way trawlers operate. But if i did head down the path of a grill place, then it wouldn't be out of the question to have a few simple affordable fishy options. Nothing wrong with a grilled makerel! well, there wasn't, and then Jamie fucking Oliver went on his "let's all eat this abundant cheap fish" campaign and suddenly prices skyrocket.
You could get some good ideas from this ttt lol

I used to like Heat Seekers.
The two chefs would challenge each other as to which could eat more hot foods.

Bizarre foods is one of my fav shows now. Watched every episode. I actually prefer the latest run of series, the Bizarre foods America ones. It's half bizarre (although not THAT weird) and half just amazing bbq and seafood and such. A great balance. I also found i could related to it a bit more as a lot of the food was stuff you might actually be able to experience without having to trek into the middle of asia to a small cave only known to 5 people only to be able to look at it, that put me off a little with the worldwide bizarre foods stuff.
