This is the problem with the press, and not just because they are a Fox affiliate. That is only Strike One.Here is a related story regarding drones and the FAA and traditional privacy.

Illegal? Possible Illegal?
See, they press makes up laws, or more to the point, they allow law enforcement to make up laws that they report.
This is a story of professional jealousy since this news outlet didn't get a chance to purchase the footage.
No law against filming since the Jane Mansfield case. It is settle up to SCOTUS already.
But they can get into tighter places....So what? Now, let us suppose I created a drone to steal drones from the sky.
That would be illegal. But, shooting them? Apparently not.
And people????!!!! Don't throw bottles at the drones. You don't know where that bottle will land. I've seen compilations of attempted vandalism and property destruction.
But, random footage is not always meaningful to the law, yet, if it says civilian drone footage. But, random cop footage...sure.
Lots to work out here. And this is the past already, and we are only just now taking it up as a society, What about this?
Smart dust is here. Clouds of micron sized, self directed mirrors, or forming giant lens, or black out screens...and more horror than we can imagine, I bet.
A big breakthrough just happened, that allows the particles to communicate up to 1/3 of a millimeter separation, instead of 10 microns, the wavelength limitation of IR comms.
A trick of 2 dimensional graphene, only 2 x 2 micron sheet can send and receive radio over 1/3 millimeter.
So, to get a message passed from one side of the cloud to other, that gives a 2 order of magnitude increase in the spacing. That makes it possibly doable, now.
So, when you want a privacy screen or a lens an mirror to check the make up, you deploy you cloud. You cell phone could do that, let';s say.
Illeigal or just another test of self rule?
