Taking it to another level! (literally) - had to MAKE WAY FOR THE GHETTO RING! It gave me a few precious inches just by staggering the heights.

Looking nice, So have you had to raise the Ghetto-Ring? looking nice Bushy n Squat..
I didn't really raise the height of the ring in relation to the plant it is being used on - I put a riser under the plant. Since most plants bush out at the top, at least more than the bottom of the container, making it so they don't bush out at the same height has effectively saved me some fighting. Yep, they are doing well, thanks! That little Willomena is nice and even - she's not my first, so I'm a little rougher making her do what I want...heh, heh, heh

Now that I made room, I can use it for some others, because Shakira's got her own room with a BIG GIRL bed - just got my A-51, baby!!! :hump:

Calling Dr. Dawg...Calling Dr. Dawg...kiss-ass (sorry - I NEVER get the chance to use that one)

And be gentle, RIU community...I am showing my stupidity here in the hopes that it might help one of you OTHER lunk-heads out there. In 2 short days, I barbequed the sh|+ out of my poor, defenseless, little baby. I didn't even think it was possible to burn a plant so badly with Blackstar LEDs. I have temporarily dropped the use of the HPS 150 (which was in its' current position prior to unplugging), and raised my UFOs as high as they will go for the moment (they were previously about 9 inches above the side branches with overlapping light pattern in the middle). When I noticed the upward "clawing" of the fan leaves, I acted, but was already a little late. The damage set in to this point over the past 3 days even after I corrected the problem - much like sunburn on a person. Notice that the lower fan leaves are NOT "clawed" or "canoe-ed" - hence...death from above...

I pulled her out, gave her a nice foliar feeding of some B1 (and waited until she was DRY to put her back under the lights) - anything else anyone can think of that might help ease the burn? Luckily (and not so, on another level), I have 8 weeks left of flower - I think I can turn her around.

Thanks for the condolences, m8! - This one is a bit fussy, but the error was ALL MINE. While the leaves got worse over the past several days, the buds themselves added a fair amount of size, so she's still fighting, thank goodness! If you REALLY want to laugh at me...I was walking around in here for a whole day and a half thinking something smelled awfully ODD - plant's burning, dumb-ass!....lmao

It happened so fast, and with almost no advance signs, since there is no heat to go along with the LED light. My HPS wasn't close enough to be causing a problem. The plants react faster (show earlier signs) to heat stress than light, I think, or at least that's the way it looks - I'm no authority on the matter, by any means, and I hope to never have to deal with it again. Lesson learned: Just because 8" was perfect for the last tenant, doesn't mean you're not going to roast the new tenant - I thought she'd be able to take more being from a more tropical environment and such, but that's why I don't get paid to think.

On a brighter note - Shakira was doing so well in her new room that I couldn't let her keep it to herself. They are already stretching out and making themselves at home.

I Think Shakira gonna be a mighty fine Lady, SOOoo Bushy & Healthy Looking...

On the "Shit something smells funny? Oh it's Me plants cooking" I think we all have the odd "Blonde/Toker" moment from time to time...I know I've done it...

Very old story and unrelated, but when my Kid Brother was still a Toker(Many Moons Ago) we went to the Garage/Petrol Station late one night for Munchies n such, well I didn't know he had already been to the Garage/Petrol Station a short while before I got to his house(he had needed Cigs) anyway going over the Bridge..and this is in his Motor...We saw a Car Bumper on the road nr some railings and we was pissin our selves, Ha, ha some twat clipped the railings n lost their Bumper...well when we got back Home..I gets outta the passenger side and walks round the back of the Car and happened to look down, and realized IT was My brothers Bumper...and started pissin(Not literally) my self again and shouts Eh Pip...its your Bumper...LOL!!! went back picked it up and tied it back on with bail string till he could get fixed...

Yeah, ugly...right...lol...nothing really wrong there - don't we ALL REALLY want our spaces filled up like that? Talk about crowded, man - did your fan rock your plants when it moved? Is that a HPS in there???? Say it ain't so, Dawg - Say it ain't so...lol. Watch a few movies too, do we? ;-)

How is Dr. Amber doing? - She gave me hope as far as use for my Phototron. Read lots of her grows, but never said a word. She put a UFO LED in the top of a tron on a Super Lemon Haze grow that turned out awesome!

And thanks again, for the lightning fast response! Glad to know there is help on a "code blue"! Had an idea of what to do to ease the pain, but always nice to have another medical opinion!

I always find a way to laugh at myself, thank goodness. Good judgement comes from experience -> Experience comes from BAD judgement. The best learned lessons are the ones that leave a knot. I am sure I will run into more of the "Lifestyles of the Blazed and Ambitious"...lol

And now, back to the stars of the show...

Shakira is looking lovely - I am pulling and tugging every day, and I still find time to train the plant too :hump:
Shakira_3-14.jpg

And I made the final top on Willomena this morning. I think I did a much better job of directing her evenly.
