If a woman can abort a child, should a man be able to initiate the abortion?

that's what i keep saying red.. there's only about a 5-7 day window in a month where a woman can get pregnant.. if you're dating someone, you should know their fertility window, and abstain during those days, or do what it takes to have sex and not create a mini me.. it's really not that hard.
Ya but sperm can live around a week up in there, so the "window" doesnt exactly work like this. Its just more likely that she gets pregnant in those days.

that's true, but she only ovulates one day a month, and pretty much the week leading up to ovulation is the only time she can get prego..

Um not 100% thats why the you cant get pregnant on your period mytg is such a big problem. Its not likely but it does happen.

It is an idealistic idea, and yes, it would be complicated. But why not have a certain time frame following conception within which to place a legal objection?

If he is 50% responsible, then how can it be a fair system if he doesn't get a say in the future events?
He already said "yes" to taking that chance.

it does happen, but very rarely does a sperm live inside of the vagina for two weeks.. typically sperm can only live up to 5/7 days inside of the body.. of course nothing is for sure 100% obviously.. i'm just saying that for the most part, sperm only have a shelf life of a week or so at most inside of a woman..

Some people literally can't pop if they wear one tho, sometimes one is simply not available.

Saying one can plan for these situations at all times is ridiculous, however given the fact there are "options" available, should a mans life for at least the next 18 years be decided by the woman alone?

Is that equality?
The man had the option to decline.

what on earth do you mean my view on genetics is old school? just because i'm a man and would own up to my responsibility if i ejaculated in a woman and created a baby in the process.. well, if that makes me old school i'm fucking proud of it..

and how did someone get my dna to make a clone of me?? this clone didn't come to fruition without my knowing about it before hand..
No one as yet has successfully cloned a human. I wouldn't worry about it.

But rarely with 7.5 billion people ends up being a lot. Even if the percentage is tiny

Broken condom isnt my fault if you had kept reading. And we plan bd it, but plan b doesnt work when you already preggo... so if you go the morning after theres a good chance it could be too late.

You still took the chance, knowing that condoms aren't 100% effective, even when they don't break. You took a gamble. You lost. There is safer sex, but there is no true safe sex. Nature can be a bitch sometimes.

Fuck off Red, just cos you kill your sexual partners (read: victims) in fires and noone wants to fuck you doesn't mean everyone else should be forced to abstain.

If she doesn't want an abortion and you do, hit the bitch with a car, etc.

A woman shouldn't get to unilaterally choose to put a man into fiscal and parental servitude for 18 years over a heat of the moment decision one night...that's horseshit.

Fortunatly they have made a Labor simulator for anyone that wants to know what pregnancy is like

Unfortunatly. No man has survived it yet

when my kids were in HS they had to do the "carry the baby around" for a week..it actually could tell when you put the baby down or let it cry or mistreated it..needless to say no one got pregnant.

do you have link to labor simulator?

Why should everything be based on a condom? In sex Ed, we were taught about all the various forms of female contraception which were stated to be statistically the same with regard to fertility as condoms, be it implants or the pill. But hey, a friend got a coil implanted. She got pregnant. My gf had s coil implanted. She got pregnant. Ifnthe man is held responsible over whether he does or doesnt wear a condom, why shouldn't a woman be responsible for whether she does or doesn't use contraception herself? Why is it so different? And by that argument, the woman has a choice, pill it up, get an implant, or don't sleep with someone who could potentially impregnate you.

Here's a controversial one then. If a woman gets too drunk, she can claim rape etc, and there are often convictions based on this argument, the verdict is she did not consent due to being too drunk etc. So if a an gets that drunk, and impregnates someone, why couldn't he use that as an excuse for not being forced into taking responsibility.

because you can't keep it in your pants and 99% the problem..fuck all you want, just put a rubber on it..but you don't want to..do you?

you have to admit he's got a point..kinda scary for a potential mate IMO..i mean who the heck is gonna want to take the chance?
I just don't think a few hours of fun should automatically mean a man is tied down for 18 years when there is other options available to the woman (that she might be too selfish to agree to).

If you're for pro-choice, equality and individual rights, how can you support the old style "its solely the woman's choice" mentality?

so do you wait till you have sex with someone to tell them that you're gonna bounce the minute you get them pregnant, or do you just spring it on them after they piss on a stick? i'd imagine it'd be the latter as not too many women are going to be interested in potentially having a kid with someone who's not gonna pay a red cent towards that kid.
