I've used this site for info for awhile but never posted until now. This is my first grow, its been 47 days since I first introduced the seeds to water.

4'x4'x6.5' grow tent
440cfm 6" VenTech carbon filter and inline fan
600w MH/HPS lighting with air cooled hood
250cfm 6" duct fan
25' aluminum ducting
6" duct clamps
aluminum tape
timer
rope ratchets
5 gallon smartpots.

For the soil I decided to make subcools supersoil with Roots organic soil for the base. I planted 3 Easy rider plants. 1 with 1/4 supersoil. 2 with no supersoil. 3 with 1/3 supersoil and I accidentally absent mindedly mixed the supersoil in with the base soil instead of using in a layer on the bottom. Here is a close up picture of 2 on day 47. 2 is doing the best, with 1 close behind. 3 has been stunted since early on from nutrient burn.

Let me know what you think! I'm a beginner at this and I welcome any tips or questions you have about my grow.

Day 52. Here are all three Easy riders plus the Blue Himalaya diesel of the same age I didn't mention before. from the top left going clockwise are plants 3, 1, 4, 2. My BHD (aka 4) just showed her first pistils yesterday while the others showed theirs on 4/11. 3 has always had nutrient burn because of my mixing the supersoil mistake. 2 seems like its been doing the best and is the farthest along.

This is my 600w mh/hps air cooled hood and 440cfm carbon filter and fan. I use the light exhaust from the air cooled hood to heat the tent since my basement stays a cool 60 degrees.

This is how the tent looks from the outside. Somewhat disguised among that other junk in my basement.

VERY GOOD LOOKING!!

Nice mate. I would think it has at least 2 weeks or so left in her to maybe get more resin production but she looks nice!!

How far away is your light from the branches of her?

Thanks, your officially the first person I have got a compliment about weed ive grown!
When they were younger I kept the light 18" away because it was winter and much cooler in the tent. now that its warmed up a bit I keep it at 24"

So 2 feet away? I would say shorten that by six inches for last few weeks, it will really help to dense up the buds. Just put a few more inline fans if it gets too hot for exhaust. With autos, they tend to be OKAY with heat and stress so I would think they would love it :D

I lowered the light, Whatever my girls love they shall get!! and If it gets too warm I can always redirect the light exhaust out of the tent.

By the way forgot to mention the light has been on 24/0. In winter as soon as I turn it off it drops to 50 degrees in there so I haven't had a choice until the last couple of weeks.

I have lots of pictures of the plants before I got around to making this journal so I'm gonna do this in several posts. Starting with 4.13.14

Day 62 5.17.14
plant 2

She is having some sort of nutrient deficiency problem I think. She was doing the best but now 1 is doing better. I put a little super soil on her before watering this morning.
