I hear the cop out from the right
"We will discuss immigration reform when our Borders are Secure"
So how do we define our borders as secure?
I'm listening
the definition of secure borders is shockingly similar to the definition of a secure house.
you dont let just any asshole walk in and take your shit do you? why should the nation be less concerned over security than you are?
secure borders means nobody gets in without approval, when that happens THEN you can talk about a "path to citizenship" or legalizing the illegals already here.
otherwise youre just opening the country to every asshole that can walk across the border, particularly those who are unwanted in their homeland (remember the mariel boat lift, when cuba emptied their prisons into florida?) mexico is currently trying to expell their mestiso population into the US so they can pursue their dream of a european nation.
we get the wretched refuse of every teeming shore, and despite what you may believe, that is NOT part of any law or the constitution.
the US can and must refuse entry to criminals, undesireables, drains on the public coffers, and other persons who are not a net benefit to the nation.
unless you think the US should become a third world country riddled with sectarian violence.
