The Justice Department has been building a national database to track in real time the movement of vehicles around the U.S., a secret domestic intelligence-gathering program that scans and stores hundreds of millions of records about motorists, according to current and former officials and government documents.

The primary goal of the license-plate tracking program, run by the Drug Enforcement Administration, is to seize cars, cash and other assets to combat drug trafficking, according to one government document. But the database's use has expanded to hunt for vehicles associated with numerous other potential crimes, from kidnappings to killings to rapes, say people familiar with the matter.

and will auto identify offenders, they do not have to do anything but drive normally lol

Some of our local authorities have got into a little bit of trouble for using voice/lie detection technology
when speaking to benefit claimants over the phone
This is not reliable and shouldn't be used imo

have also had this technology for years

lol they are just traffic wardens employed by the local council, all they do is give out parking tickets and generally park like cunts everywhere breaking their own rules, most councils are now getting rid of them after the home office started cancelling their licences after it became obvious to everyone that they were not preventing bad parking etc they were simply being used as a cash cow to bolster the local councils budget

Also, interestingly, there are quite a few areas in the UK where these cars cannot go without a police escort due to them getting hemmed in by other vehicles and smashed to fuck with hammers/crowbars etc, 1 council had 7 of these wrecked in less than a year lol
