The Politics of 'TOLERANCE'..

i don't like that word. it means 'to put up with or repugnant'..i think neither of LGBT, they are simply..people.

i move to change the word from 'tolerance' to 'acceptance'.

those who wish to continue to tolerate are in the minority and take comfort from the fact that they will be dead soon.

without a doubt, the republican brand is a dinosaur on it's way out.

See i feel the opposite, that the two words have distinct, differing meanings and tolerance is what should be upheld. I may not accept your ( insert traight,action,etc), but I must tolerate it in a civil, diverse society.

IE: Christians do not accept the gay lifestyle based on ( ridiculous) religious beliefs, but they should tolerate it in a diverse society such as ours.

See the difference. One is with consent, one is without. Why should I have to give consent to an action i find unfavorable? I will tolerate it as long as it does not directly affect me.

In my case, it's sometimes tolerance instead of acceptance. But at least it's not rejection.
