The Politics of 'TOLERANCE'..

i don't like that word. it means 'to put up with or repugnant'..i think neither of LGBT, they are simply..people.

i move to change the word from 'tolerance' to 'acceptance'.

those who wish to continue to tolerate are in the minority and take comfort from the fact that they will be dead soon.

without a doubt, the republican brand is a dinosaur on it's way out.

i don't do twitter..can someone post this for me and see if we can trend it?

i dunno, #changetolerancetoacceptance..too long?

In reference to LBGT, why not just do away with any words all together?

Do you tolerate or accept that I like fucking vagina? No, you don't care.

So why should you care that someone else likes playing scissor sisters with their mate?

Who the fuck cares? Just let people be.

The people who we should be "tolerating" and "accepting" are religious people. And those individuals who use religion as a crutch.

See i feel the opposite, that the two words have distinct, differing meanings and tolerance is what should be upheld. I may not accept your ( insert traight,action,etc), but I must tolerate it in a civil, diverse society.

IE: Christians do not accept the gay lifestyle based on ( ridiculous) religious beliefs, but they should tolerate it in a diverse society such as ours.

accept:

See the difference. One is with consent, one is without. Why should I have to give consent to an action i find unfavorable? I will tolerate it as long as it does not directly affect me.

Man , i sound like someone else who always goes on about consent..

Are you willing to tolerate or accept that some people have different beliefs than you, or should they be fined, jailed and shunned because of it?

In my case, it's sometimes tolerance instead of acceptance. But at least it's not rejection.
