@c_toke_420 I'm using some stuff I got from a friend not to sure on how often to use etc I just water once then water with nutrients then water without etc. I'm watering every 2 days and the medium I'm useing is just standard professional ready to use mix and yes I need better lights but I am not upgrading from cfl to hps or anything like that I have 5 cfl 75watt eq. 2700kal and one 150watt eq, 2700kal cfl my next I'm doing all 150 watt eq so about 450watts eq. Per plant next grow as I'm only doing 2-3 plants at a time
She looks nice for the amount of light used. I have noticed with my own cfl grow that my buds grow faster with one 23 watt bulb above a top instead of one 67 watt bulb above a few tops. My 67watt colas are actually smaller then my 23watt colas because the light lost at 6" with a cfl is retarded vs 1".
Heres some cfl porn for you. Over 1000watts equiv(330watts). See how i had to use the 67watt as side lighting instead and still, it doesnt do much the same way it didnt do much over the top unless i bring it close enough to burn something. The light spreads to much because the bulb has too much surface area vs the wattage used. If it were a 23w size bulb with a 67w draw, then it would definetly start hammering some directional output in the right fixture.20150427_083628.jpg

think about it this way one 63w bulb so 150 equ watts but only 900 lumes perbulb, but 3 23watt 75 eq witch is 69 watts 225equivaliant watts and 900lumes each bulb = 2900lumes much much better lighting and coverage you want to stick with 23 watt bulbs and just position them perfectly and really its more efficient at growing them beautiful buds

And wy do u have so many covers for them lights u need them bulbs 3 in away from the leaves and them light covers are ur problem I think. the bulb needs to be 3-6" away from buds not the cover 3" away

im not sure where you are buying the bulbs, my 23 watts are 100watt equivilent and put out 1650lumens(6500k)/1600 lumens(2700k). What covers are you talking about? The reflectors? Im not growing weed above my lights. Cfl's are hard as shit to get complete coverage below, you need reflectors regardless or alot of light is wasted above! My plants only look like that because i have 330 actual watts of cfl's directed 1" above the buds. I have backed them off many times and bud growth slowing is noticeable by the second day. I put my lights closer and they took off again. The 67 watt bulb will do the same if you put it close also, but burn pistills and quicker degraded thc is not something you want in flower. Honestly though that will be my last cfl grow. I could have easily spent less on electricity and got more of a yield with different lighting.

Basically what im saying is 1 plant grown with 5 23 watt bulbs will have more bud development and light output with less heat, than a plant grown with 1 115watt bulb.

You are completely 100% correct sir and I agree with that for sure can get way more light /heat ratio with CFLs and from then there on led is the next step ahha

Besides the lighting, your plants are pretty damn healthy for your first time being in flower. You said you have 5 cfl's correct? Can you list the actuall wattage of the 3 not in the pic? I see 2 23watt cfl's about 5" above the tops, you may want to bring them closer! 23watt cfl's are forgiving! Just dont let it touch the tops!.

I have 4 23 watt one 7watt led and one 150eq one not sure on wattage on the 150 dont remember

And I'm not about getting closer as I ran out of old sockets try my best to get as much light on as much budsights evenly as possible to promote even growth at the same rate.

Ok thats about 1600x4 lumens+2700 lumens. Almost 10000 lumens. Around 130-140 actuall watts. You could pull easily 20+ grams dry with 130 watts asuming you keep treating them good like that!

that will work but you will end up with alot of popcorn. Keep up the work though. And when your ready to feed each cola its own bulb they will really start fattening up.

Idk I think I will get more then that for sure IMO my friend grows mini plants in 1'x1'x2' boxes with two 23 watt cfl with a half gallon pot and a computer fan and yields 11-15grams off each plant in soil. everything from dollar store.

The closer the walls to the plant greatly increases the usable light by cfl's. 7000lumens per FT is a good start to pass his yeild .

What do u think my plants are doing there running up the sides and the lights are in the middle exactly what u just explained and my light is contained and affecting 2ft down 2 feet across and 3ft long so only 16sq feet so for my light setup I'll get more per watt then u are thinking
