Again, with climate change we mostly agree, I just dont think you need to screw the minimum wage dudes earning $360 a week and having to pay $100 on fuel to get there.
Yeah, should just automate those jobs, fire the minimum wage dudes earning like $285 a week, let them starve and then continue killing the planet.

Why don't you think we know enough about what's going on with the climate?
20 years ago I was told florida would be under water today, and it would stop snowing. I've read articles saying some scientists predict a 4.2 degree celsius shift in total and some are saying a 7+ degree shift by 2100. A while back I read the arctic ice cap was the largest it's been in 20 years. Is the climate changing? Yea, probably is. But don't give me all this conflicting information and tell me you know what the he'll is happening. Nothing wrong with saying "were not sure yet". Does this mean we shouldn't work on less pollution and better energy? No, but I don't believe we know enough yet.

Please cite any claim.

Or (and this concept might be difficult to understand cos you're Murican) we take some of the trillions of dollars spent on weapons and war every year and use that for research instead?

Wouldn't even need to research, that would certainly limit CO2 emissions, and support those minimum wage dudes and maybe even end world hunger. But since you're a subject of the queen who blindly hates Muslim people you probably can't begin to fathom this.

You told me to cite my claims, I claimed to have read articles, I give you articles. What am I missing?
The only citations of any real value regarding climate science are peer-reviewed studies by climate scientists. This is due to the highly politicized nature of the matter.

Certainly, Forbes and theguardian are of zero value, but the EPA does have some value. I didn't say you were incapable or unable, just currently not very good at this. Just my take though.

I don't care enough about it to read studies to be honest.

CO2 emissions are symptomatic of the problem, treating symptoms is not a cure.

We need cleaner, viable options and we need far far higher energy density fuels/batteries.

You can't cut CO2 without an alternative or the worod as we know it would become Mad Max.

No. You've demonstrated once again an utter lack of wherewithal to keep up with this conversation.

You should familiarize yourself with the vast body of research regarding climate change and the consensus among climate scientists regarding this data. It's terribly vast and yet you seem unaware it exists.

So using carbon based fuels aren't the cause of pollution?

For someone with such big words, you're pretty retarded.

Emitting CO2 in such quantities is the cause, not the symptom

Transitioning into renewables won't affect middle/lower classes. 4 former EPA administrators (all appointed by republican presidents) have publicly stated economic growth is not hindered by transitioning to cleaner energy sources. The only reason we haven't yet is because of government subsidies tied to the fossil fuel industry by way of billions of dollars have skewed the market in their favor. I bribe you (a republican) in congress to vote according to my business interests, the vote comes up and what do ya know! You vote in my favor, even if it's against those in your district.. They don't pay you campaign contributions, fuck em!

I walk away more than quadrupling my initial investment and you vote like the good little pony boy you are, just as you're told..

And what causes us to emit all the CO2?

Carbon based technology.
