CXB spectrum vs output

Im now planning to purchase Vero29 V2 4000K 80CRI because the CREE cobs are so expensive and its not realistic to fill the room I want to if I need to spend so much. Its so hard to make final decisions in here. There is so much variables. How similar are those to the 3590s?

I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer your question. All I can say is that the
CXB3590 chips in my fixtures are knocking them dead! Ensuring I start with the best was a conscious part of the buying decision for me. It will be obsolete soon enough as it is, lol

A lot of guys around here (myself included) have done entirely 3k runs, 4k runs, and 3500k runs. the differences are subtle to my eye. I think more depends on your abilities as a grower than a 500k shift in color spectrum.

***please please report back with your experience using Cutter. particularly how the coupon code and currency exchange worked out on your credit card statement. I would appreciate that greatly.

My Paypal Credit acct sill shows it in AUD for some reason, and paypal seems to have their own conversion that is slightly higher than what the known conversion rate is

at some point if your in the US, it will have to convert. My experience with PP is that when you get transferred from the seller site to PP you have the option to pay in your currency or seller currency, so would certainly choose US, however either way, the money they take will be AUD, Converted to USD, or USD

This is what Paypal shows, and their conversion is not right now, nor at the time of sale, but nothing I can do about it, I think Paypal just making an extra profit.

Exchange rate
$202.25 USD = $270.17 AUD
1 US Dollar = 1.34 Australian Dollar

I argued with them on the phone to no avail. was just trying to get them to admit they were making a profit on the exchange rate.
I have to agree PP and eBay are making lots of money, and PP found themselves in trouble a yr or so ago, with the credit division, and members that were affected were supposed to get some reimbursement, but that didnt ever happen it seems
They have become something of a monopoly it seems, and that is something that I dont care for.
This is in no way your fault, and please dont think I am blaming you for the price difference,

totally get you, double checked and our Credit card online is now at about 2.4% as a slightly cheaper option, but dont believe the banks will treat anyone any better on clipping the exchange rate ticket

When using PayPal, I chose the option to be billed in seller's currency. That way, my bank does the conversion and they have better rates than PP.

Depending on what optics you use, I don't know if that's a great test due to overlapping footprints. It should result in some amazing quality though. Separate tents with identical conditions would work better for comparison imho.
 
Without optics they have 115 degree angle, which just basically goes out sideways in addition to straight under the emitter. It'll blend the spectrums of all the lights in the tent to the point that your test has little value( other than great medicine of course.)

i was gonna double up some panda film to make white curtains and hang them between them to block the bulk of the light. not gonna obsess over tiny light leaks. i got cutter reflectors. (90 deg?)

6x100W per test, 3 tests in a 5x9 (so 600W per 5x3) = +/- 800 par W depending on BIN

id do separate tents but its really hard to match temp/humidity/etc as closely
