That graph sucks, Ace!

I have to tilt my head left or right to read it.

The graph is an accurate representation of the American political spectrum, and placement on it is based exclusively on the tangible evidence of a politician's voting record. The formatting is just to match the nomenclature of left and right.

Republicans in this country scream about guns, but they're more than happy to toss the REST of our constitutional rights in the trash. Democrats have followed their lead in order to get money, too.

The only people who get screwed are the 90%.
Its true. There are plenty of fakers everywhere.

Both sides are humans and humans can be corrupted easily. Oaths are nothing to them. Its all just one joyride to the top for them.

Not just our country either. Every country. People can be convinced that poison is worth the fun. Easily. It is nothing to sway large populouses to trade rights for security and mcdonalds.

That's the problem. The nomenclature and rhetoric don't square.

ACCOUNTABILITY in government. It's an idea whose time has come.

Socialists are viewed as less attractive to Americans than Atheists are.
Well, the socialists in American politics, and there are a ton, just want to call themselves progressive liberals and think we are too dumb to see what they really are.

I give no fucks what they're called, I'm interested in how they fall on the issues.

Democratic socialism works.

Picking and choosing definitions and facts?

I live in this place called reality. You should come visit sometime.
You do NOT live in reality. You refuse to answer direct questions, you babble incoherently, and you think political compass is somehow impartial ("It remains a mystery to us why Sanders chose to describe himself — incorrectly — as a socialist, and in America of all countries.... The Greens and the Libertarians have been shamefully sidelined by a skewed system that cries out for democratic reforms, serious curbs on corporate campaign funding and the implementation of a form of proportional representation that most democracies take for granted.... Are the fat cat vulgarian and the pin-up girl of Wall Street and the Pentagon really the two finest minds and noblest characters that America could come up with for its highest office?... Haven't the last eight years of neo-conservatism and Democratic deference brought the country too close already to a one-party state masquerading as a two-party state?" <--- totally impartial non-rhetoric from PoliticalCompass.org). You are just a lefty Trump (Who, according to your precious site, is more left wing than Hillary).

Schools, roads, power grids.

Your turn!

How's that income and wealth inequality? What's it done FOR our country, rather than TO it?
That's not democratic socialism sorry. i don't have a problem with wealth inequality at all. I have everything I need and want and prefer to make my own way. I like that better than to blame that I don't have all the things marketing firms would tell people they need on "rich people."

So if you think I'm irrational, just speak for yourself.

Stop trying to define me, because you're getting everything laughably wrong.

So without government we would sit home because we have no roads??

We would also not pay for schooling which should cost far less and we can pay teachers a fair wage without the needles spending of millions of dollars just on an unneeded addition to my local highschool?

And power grid really?? That is not our government that is the power companies we the people pay plus the taxes the government needlessly takes driving up the price of electricity for what fucking reason?
