Advanced nutrients, Grow + Micro + Bloom

Hey everybody,

I'm on my first grow, everything is going way smoother than I thought it would, life is great! :joint: Now being new to all of this, I made the mistake of assuming that the guy selling me my nutrients knew what he was talking about, but I think after all he might just be a good stoner, and not grower lol...

I opted to use the Advanced nutrients 3 part "PH perfect" system.

Now I was told by the salesman that for the first two weeks of the plants life to use the "GROW" part, after two weeks to use the "MICRO" part, and then once I start flowering to use the "BLOOM" part. He definitely told me to only use one at a time.

I had a friend with more experience come over to help me diagnose why my plants had starting spotting necrosis and he confirmed that it was most likely a phosphorous deficiency, which seems really likely. He also said that the MICRO GROW AND BLOOM should all be used at the same time, or else I would be leading myself to major headaches with deficiencies...

So the final question is, can anyone confirm whether I should be using all three per feeding, or if I should be using the three different parts in three different stages?

Thank you very much for reading this, hope life's treating you great!

Yes you should be using all 3 at the same time , but in the different stages some more than the others . In Veg more Grow than Bloom and in Flower more Bloom than Grow and in both stages they need a good amount of Micro. Good Luck

Happy Growing!

You guys are awesome, makes perfect sense! I was reading on the company web site and it said at some point that there's actually an order in which you're supposed to add the 3 parts to your "chamber". Seeing as i'm not using a hydro but just a soil medium, this wouldn't apply to me right?

micro 1 2 grow 3 flowering then addiatives or u risk lock outs keep pics im sure ppl want see if perfect ph can deliever perfect results ,chamber = pail u mix ur nutes in so yes it applies just get good run off 10-20% to avoid salt buildup down the road

So SWIM took some pictures of his garden this morning... Just a closet grow, using 7 23 watt CFLs. 9 weeks old as of today. Started flowering on Friday.Picture0019.jpgPicture0020.jpg I'm pretty sure my only male will be the one on the far left, looks like a male structure to me and he looks different from the others at the nodes.Picture0021.jpgLeafsPicture0022.jpgBigger plantPicture0023.jpgBig leafs not getting enough lightPicture0024.jpgPicture0025.jpg necrosis spots as I had mentioned.

Yup, that a phos def. As for the salesman telling you to use gbm all the time, prolly confused the an gbm with the general hydro line up. Get some rock phosphate and water it into you soil.

I was planning on just adding the BLOOM part to the mix and using the three together, you know cause i've been using only the grow or micro per feeding, and they both don't contain any phosphate! If I catch what you're telling me, I'm already too deficient to just use the product as it should be used, and I need an extra phosphate boost?

Yes, you should be using the system at the same time, just in different ratios.

pH Perfect® technology only works when you use it correctly, from my experience, though I'm a bigger fan of Sensi

What's difference between the sensi line including conniseur and the 3 part GMB line. I currently use 3 part but wouldn't mind having one less thing to mix up cuz I run a DWC stand alone no recirculating and have 8 buckets. So less mixing sounds good. Also anyone know why they have sensi ab the sensi an conniseur? Seems weird that thy have like 3 base Nute lines. Anyone know contents of each to compare? Thanks RIU

Have the answer to my questions incase anyone comes across this an wants to know themselves. Talked to the dude at AN and he says that the 3 part and the 2 part are the same except for number of parts. Which is kinda stupid to me why not just have 1 version but whatever. Then he tells me the sensi conniseur is a higher quality version of the other 2. His comparison was " it's like a Corvette compared to a Ferrari

Hi there, long time skeptic, first time as a public AN hater;

You would be better off with a Toyota Camry.
If you keep getting advice from AN you'll end up broke. The reason they have so many products is to SELL THEM.

The hype machine is big, but Cannabis is just a plant, you don't need much of anything special to grow dankydank. For instance, use some well-amended soil and water only during veg, then throw in any respectable fertilizer with about a 1-3-2 ratio in flowering, then a bit of MKP (Monopotassium Phosphate) and MgSO4 (Epsom Salts) during the last half of flower, done deal.

Just like flushing your plants before harvest, AN is a pack of lies. I'll take my responses off the air.

i dont think you need much mg after 4th week in flower but hay, it personal, what ever floats your boat.

can use a macro element as a top up maybe to week six max.

For the record the car comparison was the dude from AN I just found it funny. And unfortunately I do need nutrients bevause I grow hydroponically. And you can think what you like about AN I'm not a supporter or hater of them but one thing I will say is their customer service is quite good they take time to answer any and all questions and main guy seems to really know his shit.

That's fair. I think their prices are insane, but I'm glad you're happy with the service, that counts for a lot.
I'm a dick sometimes, I know, but I hear you, man. May all your buds be dense and stanky.

Don't know if you're hydro or not, but this is for a recirculating setup.View attachment 3738426
I go back and forth from soil to different forms of hydro, I'm a hobbyist.
I'm going to run passive Blumat drippers in Royal Gold Tupur (Coco-based) next.

That seems like a simple little chart to use, GH isn't too bad, with AN one is paying a lot for the artwork on the front.

I use Jack's nutrients from JR Peter's labs for both soil and hydro.
