I still haven't brought in those nasty Durban Poison plants. They look like shit but the buds are getting firm & smell fabulous.

This is a VERY strange season as far as cannabis goes. Got two indica trees outside that are still at least a week from being done, and the sativa plants have just started getting frosty. They've got at least another 3 weeks and will need to be finished in the tent.
Fortunately, my biggest plant in the tent is almost finished.
She's a frosty bitch (sorry about the HPS lighting). Strain is purple OG.

I actually chuckled at this becasue if you think flower extracts are bad for you then you have the wrong hobby. But then again I also use nukes but do it responsibly. Perhaps its because Pyrethrins should be used for maintenance and not eradication. Why doesn't anyone ever mention about how toxic Spinosad is. That stuff will wipe out honeybees in a heartbeat.

Spinosad is not toxic to humans. And if you and dispose correctly...bees are going to be just fine. Spinosad is a naturally occurring fungus that was discovered growing under old ass rum barrels in the Caribbean back in the day. Yall take SOME pesticides WAY too far.

The problem with sprays is that you can miss a spot. That's why I like vapor pest strips like hot shots.
If I was going to use a spray to clean my tent, I'd go with straight peroxide in a spray bottle. Protective gear is a must. Keep that shit out of your eyes & skin!
Home depot had it on sale a couple of weeks ago. This is the shit!

Dude, I'm a toxicologist by academic training so I take all poisons "too far." Again, everything is toxic to humans. It is the dose that makes it poisonous. With reasonable, prescribed use but Pyth and Spino A/B are all just fine.

I never disagreed with either of your comments above. I managed household and industrial wastes for 5 years. Everything is fine if you dispose of it properly. Just ask the government about their Hanford site. They'll tell you all about it.

There are a lot of ways, even without chemicals to get rid of them, as you probably already found out yourself.
In my country we dont grow out of seed, but buy clones. Whenever I get clones I prepare a mixture of fresh garlic, and strong tobacco in a small amount of boiling water. I let it sit for some hours and then spray it on the clones. Havent seen any damn critters since then, no nasty chemicals involved.

I have a room that I have been fighting these bastards in. It is mailing white painted drywall.

I am thinking of wrapping the walls with white panda plastic. If I see them again I could spray the plastic with a lite bleach solution when I had plants in the room. I wonder if the fumes would kill them? I prefer this to no pest strips and would use other remedies including spinosad.

Can you find the right tobacco in a store that sells tobacco in a can? Used to be easy to find in stores in the USA but not so much anymore. How much do you need? I would not say that tobacco is not a nasty chemical.

You don't want to spray Chlorine around your plants... the off gassing will screw em up..
I've heard of the garlic and tobacco but used separately not mixed.. I'd try it!

well, tobacco is smoked, like weed, so thats where I draw the line between nasty chemical and not chemical. It's probably more of an personal opinion

The Tobacco I use looks like this:

The Garlic I squish with a garlic press. The amount of mixture really depends on how many clones you have, but for example 40 clones:

around 20 gram tobacco
all toes of 1 whole garlic
between 100ml-200ml water

heat it all up for a while on the stove, then let the mixture cool off.

Make sure to spray both the bottom and top of the clone's leaves.


PS) Try it on 1 or 2 clones first as I'm not sure if your tobacco has the same stuff in it as the one I'm using.

i havent read thread but a while back i got em from a clone. i think they were the supermites cause it took me months to get rid of them and i was VERY thorough. in any case i was blown away to read that they can hibernate up to a year and come back

i have forbid 4F and floramite at the ready as nuclear options but fortunately never got there

between cycles id buy a respirator and goggles and some long sleeve clothes you dont care about and just go off in your room with spray bottles of 10% bleach .get every little corner and SOAK it. and if its a place you or your pets arent around blow off a dr doom pyrethum bomb

without plants there they are hard to survive and the two steps above should knock out any stragglers
