What Went Wrong (The Real Reason)..

So it failed in 93, and due to that you feel it should never be mentioned again?
absolutely not. Universal coverage failed in 93 and wasn't going to succeed in 2009. Your question ignores an obvious outcome. The ACA does not preclude universal healthcare later on. .

While it lasts, the ACA provides subsidized healthcare to tens of millions and does not preclude . People are complaining about the cost of insurance coverage but can you honestly say same health care coverage would cost less today if not for the ACA?

It's pretty funny, poor Hillary will be taking blame all the way to the grave and beyond.
That was for on the sidelines hockystikk:-)
She certainly does get unjustly dumped on....kind of the smart nerdy girl that stays home and does homework for all of the hot chicks while their boyfriends chuckle and tease, sigh. She'd have made a fine prez. Who knows; maybe she still will....

The Clintons in general, though, have always been favorite targets of wingnuts and the religious reich. Hell, they managed to spin a few blowjobs, a cock flash, and some philandering into "DECADES OF RAPE, ISLAND HEDONISM, AND SATAN WORSHIP!!!!"

except we saw what happened, and that's not what happened.

post labor day, things tightened until the first debate. clinton commanded the debate and won the news cycles easily.

then trump's taxes were leaked. then trump's "grab them by the pussy tape" was leaked. then a dozen women all came forward and said trump grabbed them. then, in the final week of the election, comey dug up an old non-scandal.

there would have been two stories a week about bernie's very, very bad past, every week, for the entire election cycle.

As I said in a different thread, there was nothing about the ACA that prevented universal coverage later. I think the ACA was a bridge to this. The public wasn't going to accept expanding Medicare during the recession but the ACA got done.

Now HERE is a motherfucker that requires closer study/ousting. So much for the myth of 'FBI integrity', as it turns out they are just like their lower-ranking brethren - racist pig beat cops and their ilk. Fucking 'blue wall of (BIGOTED) silence' bullshit needs dismantling....
The second investigation definitely triggered orange hitlers comeback. It is very suspicious at best, tampering with an election at worst.

You're basing this off of the polls? If so, you may as well throw those right out the window. Not a single one of them gave trump a snowballs chance at any point.

She lost to a sexist, racist, homophobic dink that was caught on tape bragging about grabbing women by their vag. THAT's how unpopular she is. How you can't see that is beyond me.

538 gave him a 30% chance going into election day.

and i am basing my observations of what happened in the news cycle on what happened in the news cycle.

Hillary was such a weak candidate that she won the most pledged votes in the primaries. Democrats (particularly bernie bros) need to stop being delusional if they want a chance to win back a piece of the federal government. Hillary won the primaries because she had more support than Sanders. (That being said, I voted for Sanders in the primaries mostly because Hillary said she would start a no fly zone in syria)

True, but when the DNC was caught red handed manipulating the race for her, it makes you wonder what the outcome might have been otherwise.

Regardless, this should serve as a wake up call to the dems. People want change.... even if it comes in the form of an unqualified cheeto.
