Every major corporation has a set of HR guidelines, posted in offices and plants, annually mailed to every employee. No discrimination of any protected groups. No discrimination of any kind with 800 numbers dearly posted for filing complaints.

There is much less shame, if any, in their snitching, as it may be the only way out of that Hell. You do it for fun; that is pathetic. Other people do it to get out of trouble; equally pathetic. I wouldn't say this woman, or man (because domestic abuse happens on both sides of the table) deserves to be ostracized because of what she did, like certain people around here, but it still fits the definition.
