Foliar feeding washes off spinosad/avid/forbid, etc. ???

Do you have to stop foliar feeding if you apply any of these pesticides? I just realized that I've been foliar feeding my rooting clones within a couple of hours of dipping them in Avid or Spinosad, and just continued foliar feeding as usual.

Am I washing off the pesticide??? Surprised that the labels do not touch on this subject whatsoever.

When you foliar it doesn't need to run off and just do the dip after you feed just wait a couple of hours..

Why do you foliar feed? Are you incapable of giving your plants a decent growing environment? Obviously not if you need to spray pesticides along with un-needed ferts.

Maybe take up needlepoint as a more productive hobby and trade that for decent pot.

rooting clones need no fertilizer sprays. Dont consider foliar feeding until your chemical romance has ended.

Maybe go fk yourself and then once you're done doing that, learn to not make assumptions. They aren't my clones, I picked them up from a 3rd party, yes they are still rooting, and they came with the bugs. And this would be my 2nd grow, so I'm still learning. My growing environment is perfectly fine with around ~65-70%rh and ~78*F. Your set up looks like shit, and you've been doing this for how long lol? Heres what a proper grow room looks like, 4000 watts, and it was my first grow Mr "Oldschool" . Thats only 8 plants in the pic . Thank you. I had read that you should foliar feed around 100-200ppm. Once clones are transplanted I rarely ever foliar feed. They have roots now but I thought foliar feeding was beneficial, at any rate, it couldn't do any harm.

problem with foliar feeding often is high humidity and mold, add that to mixing salt ferts with chemical applications at the same time and I fear more issues could arise.
I foliar feed in veg after seedlings/clones grow a little, about 2x a week and wouldnt have it any other way.

I still have them in the humidity dome. I thought i was supposed to be promoting high humidity during this stage. I foliar fed multiple times a day and kept misting the dome to keep the humidity up. I guess thats why i have fungus gnats ? Idk wtf theyre doing inside my rockwool cubes though I thought they primarily stuck to soil where they could eat stuff. Fuckers must be eating my roots. I hope the h2o2 takes care of them.

NO, Spinosad and Avid are systemic and Forbid is translaminar (means it travels through the leaf and settles at the bottom of it.)

To broach the rest of the new topic. Foliar is used as a fast acting feed solution to deliver the needed nutrient for deficiencies.

Wouldn't the chemical need a certain amount of time to be absorbed into the leaves in order to be systemic? Would it immediately go into the plant after dipping them? Because i probably heavily sprayed them with mild nutrient solution maybe 3 hours after the Spinosad or Avid application. I did them on separate days. Avid was last Tuesday and Spinosad was Friday. Today is Tuesday and I still have the thrips. I was hoping that the foliar feeding was the reason behind them not dying.

Been holding it off because it would be much more difficult to dip them once i put them in the hugo 6x6 rockwools. I dip all the way down to the stem a few millimeters away from the rockwool since some of them have leaves that are pretty low. I use a very skinny container with only 15oz of solution, wide enough only to fit a 1.5inch rockwool so i can dunk it low. In order to accomplish that i would need to use a much larger container and wasteful amounts of pesticide. I really dont want to spray these pesticides, dunking is so much easier and more importantly, cleaner.

Just thrips with the dips. They barely had any roots at all when i picked them up last Monday. Less than half of them had a single root sticking out, the rest didnt. Pretty much all of them have had roots since about Thursday roughly. About 5 days. There are a few that only have a few pieces of roots though, like 3 or 5 sticking out. But there are some that are pretty explosive and like 2 inches beyond the cube. Some are starting to take the shape of the flooring of the humidity dome lol. It saddens me to see them turning yellow and being air-pruned.

Could you let me know the dose to used with the avid dip on clones and if it burned them at all like how many ml to a gallon ...

I do avid dips for my clones...4 drops to 1 gallon for the avid 0.15ec
